Great job by SoloEast, our guide was great. Left on time, went smooth as clockwork. I don't consider myself an antinuclear energy person, but this trip will really make you contemplate how bad this came close to being for the entire world. Yet it is all done in a very interesting, non-preaching way. Pripyat was surreal....a real-life view into a... More

The trip exceeded my expectations with the locations we visited, the knowledge of the guide, the introduction during the bus trip. The visit to the ghost town of Prypiat was very interesting and the visit to the radar station was an unexpected surprise.

This trip is well worth it. SoloEast are a well organised tour company - book with confidence. They kept in touch with me in the build up to the trip by email and everything ran like clockwork on the day. The guide was very knowledge and both he and the driver are very friendly and approachable. You'll be taken to... More

My boyfriend and I had a great time on the Chernobyl tour. We found the videos that we watched in the car on the ride to the Zone very informative. Our favorite part was getting to visit Pripyat--I think we would have both preferred this part to be longer and to be closer to the beginning of the tour. Also... More

I had actually booked a Monday tour with another company who prceded to cancel on me at the last minute (who? They are #1). This group got me all set up quickly. I found the instructions provided easy to follow including the passport requirement, dresscode, and meetup location. Igor, our driver and trip manager got us to the exclusion zone... More

I felt all the time that we were rushing a little bit which is reasonable since we had to come back to Kiev by 6pm. But all parts of the tour were just amazing. Nathalia is really good guide who has a big knowledge about the matter. I'll definitely go on 2-3 days long tour soon.

I booked with SoloEast after reading a fair amount of reviews of other places as well as SoloEast and ultimately landed on SoloEast because it felt right and the price was good. The communication with them was stellar, as I had to edit a few things about our trip and pickup point, which they were very prompt about replying and... More

The tour was interesting, informative and scary. Pripyat is like a ghost town, there is a very special vibe. One should not miss out on the special opportunity. A new sarcophagus is being placed in 2017 and the town buildings are decaying - so there is really no time to waste - go now! You will never forget and probably... More

This is something that you should not miss, it may seem a bit expensive, but it is something not to be missed. The tour starts early morning at 08:00 and finishes around 18:00. The guide (Helen) tells very intresting stories about life in the exclusion zone and is easy to understand. Pripyat is best on tour, amazing. Make sure you... More

The booking was easy and the trip entailed so much more than just visiting the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl. It included an interesting video on the drive out there, trip to Pripyat, trip to a kindergarten (one of three buildings in a town that was buried after the diaster), trip to a Soviet radar relic, lunch in Chernobyl town...
