This isn't the largest church in Kiev, but it is very impressive! The bright color is wonderful! Even on an overcast fall day it really stands out! It is magnificently preserved about 7 blocks up the hill from Khryschatyk Street (that runs past Maidan -- Independence Square in Central Kiev). This is a revered house of worship for the faithful... Even though this cathedral is by no means old in Kiev (middle 19th century), it is definitely one of the most magical ones. You don't have to stay there for very long, but do go there. The inside is simply stunning. I felt at home there. In fact, I am taking my mother there next month when I'm going to... More

Beautiful cathedral, inside and outside. Well worth a visit. You can go inside and have a look around.

One of the most beautiful churches in Kiev in my opinion. It does not look like much from the outside, but do go in.

It's worth visiting, but if you've seen other cathedrals you probably won't remember this one particularly (they also don't allow photos for free, though I think you can buy a photo ticket), at least I don't

The outside of the building is lovely. The colours are excellent. The inside is covered with paintings, but a little dark. You can photograph and video it for a price!

This church is still being used today. It is very beautiful with amazing art inside. You can't take pictures inside. There is a religion store in the church.

The outside of the church doesn't look attractive but let that not deceive you. The interior is magnificent, the lighting spectacular, the atmosphere is full of grace. It's difficult to find words to describe this place, just go and see it.

The only minus is that it is situated in a busy neighbourhood. It is on the busy street..So it is not as calming as other cathedrals. Overwise, it is very beautiful. Especially you have to go inside
