I wasn't impressed when I first visited this museum a couple years ago. But still came again, and it looks like every next exhibition is better and better. I would recommend to visit with a guide, as it helps to understand the idea of art pieces better. It's a pity that you are not allowed to take photos( as in... More

Pinchuk Art Centre keeps pleasing with very unusual and extra ordinary art exhibitions. The latest on Belgian Congo awakens all the senses and tells a lot about the colonial history of Africa.

Even if you are not into contemporary art, do not miss this place! It is central located, around 500 meters from Maidan. Outstanding contemporary art exhibitions from ukrainian and international artists are shown. On top of that, it has large opening hours from Tuesday to Sunday 12 to 20:30 and it is FREE of charge. next to bessarabsky market, its philantropic funder let people free admission to spread lesser known art. In this case it was an exhibition of young chinese artists on modern art. Hard to describe but really touching.

If you want a break from classical churches and historical sites (and have an interest in art), the Pinchuk Art Centre is a great museum in the center of the city with a rotating display by contemporary artists. (And it's free.) On view was a fascinating and thought-provoking exhibition by sculptor Anish Kapoor, whose work ranges from Joseph Beuys-like accumulations... More

Nice place in the center of Kiev. Pinchuk Art center presents the Contemporary art. The display of center changes often. Interesting works of the Belgian artist Jan Fabr about a colonialism in Africa in Congo. Pictures are done from unusual material - beetles of burncows. A basic idea of many pictures of gallery is a fight against AIDS. Modern design,... More

Situated in the very heart of the capital - on Bessarabkaya square next the Khreshchatyk Street - Pinchuk Art Center is indeed worth a visit every time a new exhibition is in place. Having almost unlimited budgets and a great love for arts, Mr. Pinchuk and his curators always have something interesting & eye-opening in store for the visitors of... More

First of all: the position on the map is wrong, its not on Vasilkyvska str. Its on Bessarabska square just near Bessarabsky rynok and Kreshatik str. Well, about the place, If you have nothing common with modern art - it will be weird. Very weird. Quintessention of nonsence. But at least the enter if free and this place have realy... More
