Good representation of Soviet and Eastern Bloc planes and helicopters. The descriptions are in English also, but the information and displays are basic.

Great place for family weekend in good weather. It is interesting to visit for adults and children (boys and girls). The museum features a variety of planes and helicopters - civilian and military, starting from the middle of the last century and modern. You can go inside of some exhibits. The museum periodically helds different thematic shows and festivals. Last... More

Although simewhat shabby In overall appearance due to the cost of ongoing conflict. The selection of soviet, Russian ( post soviet...) and Ukrainian aircraft and helicopters of various types, up close and personal... Including the Russian Bear, which has been trolling off the coast of the U.S. most recently... Worth an afternoon visit, if one finds themselves in Kyiv.

It was Ok. If the weather was not so windy we might like it even better. Was there for the Samolet show early summer this year. All aircrafts was open for free. It is pros and cons the same time. Crowds of people in a queue does not make overall experience exciting

Must see for the aviation enthusiast!! Great Soviet aircrafts including some rare birds!!! One cafe, one small shop and the great exhibitions outside! Choose a good sunny (and not too hot) day! I would go there by taxi.

Located close to an airport it is absolutely worth spending a couple of hours watching different airplanes. Especially if you remember the cold war days and the threat these planes posed to the west.

This is an absolut must visit in Kiev. Here you can find all kind of mythical Airpower from yesterday and also today's civil and military aviation. Great flying machines concentrated in a single place. Our one-hour-tour-guide had to rush through the chains of airplanes and helicopters, explaining all she could about the past of these amazing aircraft. For me, the... More

If you are at all interested in aircraft this is well worth a visit. Though not up to Western European museum standards please do not let that put you off. The entrance price of 30 UAH gives access to a huge collection of aircraft many of which you'll of heard of whether on a computer game or the news. Definitely... More
