If you are at all interested in aircraft this is well worth a visit. Though not up to Western European museum standards please do not let that put you off. The entrance price of 30 UAH gives access to a huge collection of aircraft many of which you'll of heard of whether on a computer game or the news. Definitely... More

This museum has a large and constantly growing collection of (rare) Russian aircraft. Most of the exhibits are very well maintained and some are open for visit inside (against a few extra Grivna). Next to the museum is Zhulyani airport so every now and then airplanes are taxiing by and taking off from very close to the museum. On the... More

As I have an interest in aviation I thought it would be interesting to visit this place. Is a bit out of town but fairly easy to get there. Bus no. 220 departs frequently just 100m from Metro station 222. Take bus 220 to the terminus, which is at the museum entrance. After waking up the guy in the ticket... More

I loved this place! Walking around these old Soviet era birds was an amazing experience for me, someone who grew up during the 70's and 80's modern era of the cold war. Dripping with history and well kept, the aircraft lines are beautiful in their functional and stark contrast to western aircraft of the same era. Only $3 to walk... More
