Although this street is considered the heart of Kiev it is the low point of the centre. Walk in any direction from here and things will improve quickly. Many people there to work the tourists. Very few shops worth seeing (there's only one I go to). There are so many better parts of Kiev. Don't waste more than 10 minutes... More

Kreshatik street has always been my favorite spot to shop, walk and eat. Do love the environment and the underground mall. I truly miss when the entire street was closed on the weekend so that people can enjoy their moments while walking along the street. The shows being held during the weekend was fun too. Definitely go back for a... More

Best time to visit here is at the weekend especially if it is dry plenty to do and see. Night Time is also interesting but I would suggest that you do not try alone if it is very late. Plenty to see especially if you like shopping.

This is a wide street with some history of Ukraine, but has been transformed over the past 20 years. There are the high end shops now and an underground mall at Maidan Square that has a fast food court. Part of the street is closed on weekends for pedestrians and makes a nice Sunday stroll from one end of the... More

This street is pretty cool as it reminded me of a New York Street. It normally has a good amount of people walking. There are mostly native people there and not a lot of tourists which I liked. There are many stores for shopping. I was at a diesel a zara and a few other stores. On weekends the street... More

One of the main streets in Kiev, includes Independence Square. Big, busy and heaving with people but a number of excellent little cafes and restaurants along the way. Closed to traffic at weekend so much easier to see everything that is going on.
