We were treated terribly at this museum. I have been to numerous museums around Europe (the Louvre in Paris, the Prado in Madrid, and many others sprinkled throughout Italy) and I have never been treated in such a rude and pedantic manner. I had half a day to spend in Kiev city while travelling, and greatly enjoyed my time in the museum. I was surpsied to see such a big colection of Russian paintings by Vrubel, Repin, Ge, Vasnetsov, Shishkin, Vereschagin and others - a real gem in the centre of Kiev!
