Several main roads and little street meet on this square, giving home to the national theatre, an equestrian statue, and a bus station as well. Knez Mihailova starts from here, can be a good basis for city walks. Some popular modern eateries and bars can be found on the square.

one of the best square in belgrade. National theather located one side ; other street takes you to kalamegdan. There are many restaurants and cafe's around.

This is the main square in Belgrade. It has a nice view of the people's theater and national museum of Belgrade. People here use this square as a meeting point whenever they want to hook up with friends, even visitors start using it as such because of the tradition here :) The bars around this square are a bit expensive,... My stay in Belgrade was one of the most pleasant in Europe! It is not a country that is visited frequently like other countries in Europe, hence, only two reviews about Republic Square. when you go to Belgrade 100% sure that you will visit Trg Republic. It is ın the middle of Belgrade. The National Museum which is underconturaction is there.

If you want to meet someone in Belgrade, just say 'let's meet kod Konja'..our favorite place for meeting from the time there was no mobile or even land phones :) . Excellent startpoint for sightseeing.
