Been there two evenings with my girlfriend...the atmosphere is lovely, it is something that, no doubt, "completes" such a vibrant and modern city with a peacevul, "bohemian" touch. Love the live music - maybe musician are a bit pushy, but is part of the game. We did not eat there - too much people - but we had nice rakijas... More

This was my biggest disappointment on my visit as I was led to believe it was they place to go for food with lots of restaurants around this area. In fact I found that Knez Milahovia Street to be much better.

This street gives you a real feel for old Bohemian Belgrade. In the evening it is beautifully lit with traditional music being played and even couple dancing in the street. Wear flat shoes - the cobbles are very uneven.

Skadarska is one of the most entertaining streets of Belgrade. There are lots of kafanas and pubs lined next to each other. This place is called the Bohem part of Belgrade, many years ago it was inhabited by poor actors, painters, poets who come to work in theatres etc. Must see, preferably at night.

The old cobbled street has many restaurants mainly serving typical Serbian food but also popular western food is also available. Well worth an evening and enjoy the live local music

A very nice scene full of restaurants and people. You need time and friends to go there and enjoy. Select some nice restaurant and spend a lot of time there. Live music, people having fun and selection of nice food can make your day.

It begins right below the Republic Square and stretches along the short, winding Skadarska Street. One of the most famous streets in Belgrade, it is less than 400 metres (440 yd) long.Skadarlija began to acquire its bohemian character in the last few decades of the 19th century, and particularly after... I do visit Skadarlija every time I am in Belgrade, mostly, for old time sake, Skadarlija that I remember was vibrant Belgrade landmark for locals and tourists, day or night, any season.... This time, however, left me disappointed. I enjoyed a quick walk through the Skadarlija, but nothing was worth to keep me there more than half an hour. The... More
