Skadarlija is the Plaka of Belgrade! A very sweet and cute stone road, with cafes and restaurants right and left, touristic on the one hand, but also with many locals enjoying their night. Unfortunately the restaurant where we had our dinner was not so good, so I am not sure for the general quality of the food in the street.... more

Skadarlija would have to be one of the nicest parts of Belgrade. The neighbourhood and the cobbled streets are romantic and sweet. The restaurants are excellent.. the service is professional, food is perfect, the atmosphere electric - especially when the live music bands come to you and play you a song! A must! - my pick of restaurant is Tri... more

An absolute gem within Serbia! This is one of those spots you don't want to miss on your travels within Europe. The people in Serbia are wonderfully polite, delightful and eager to accomodate your needs on your stay. Hospitality is number 1. We were in Belgrade in October 2004. Visit to Skadarlija and dinner in Tri Sesira (Three Hats) in Skadarlija was a highlight of our stay. We sat in the courtyard; it was a balmy evening and the whole of Skadarlija was buzzing with people enjoying the ambience. The cobbled roads, the beautiful architecture and lovely art shops were a delight.... more
