One street with lots of bars and restaurants on it. There is a sense of bohemia about it and it is worth a visit. It was raining when we visited - can imagine in the summer it is heaving and very atmospheric.

A lovely bohemian style quarter with many traditional restaurants. I only tried "tri sesira", which was great. Definitely worth a walk.

If you want to experience the spirit of old Belgrade, this unique street you should not miss. Great scenery, delicious food and drink, excellent service and of course good old music just to the ear... Fabulous!

Skadarlija is located less than 300 metres (330 yd) north-west of Terazije, central Belgrade. It begins right below the Republic Square and stretches along the short, winding Skadarska Street. One of the most famous streets in Belgrade, it is less than 400 metres (440 yd) long. It connects the Despot Stefan Boulevard with the Dušanova Street, near the Bajloni open... More

This bohemian quarter always was a place of gathering. The place where you can eat good food, drink good wine and rakija, and talk long into the night. It's not coincidence that poets wrote their best works right here, in the Skadarlija taverns. This is definitely place to go if you're planing to visit Belgrade. My favorite tavern is "Dva... More

The bohemian pedestrian street is a must see. But make sure you get some history about its spirit from the locals or perhaps your guide. The story behind this street goes back to hundred years ago where this side of the city was inhabited by artists, poets and musicians. The restaurants or kata as are almost all the same, and...
