Description: A perfect way to discover the hidden secrets of Belgrade is to explore...
A perfect way to discover the hidden secrets of Belgrade is to explore underground. These underground places present older layers of Belgrade that various cultures built over ramparts of the conquered city, a scenario which occurred 38 times. Stories of Serbia's turbulent history cannot be presented by a few visible remains. We have selected underground paths from the Roman, Austrian, Turkish and Serbian period to present to you.

Absolutely great tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. I would say a must see and the wine at the end was a great touch with a nice chance to sit with our guide. If you don't want a 3 hour tour don't go but otherwise take the time.

The tour had already been described in painstaking details by some of the reviewers, but let's shed some light on it. I went with my girlfriend to this tour in December 2014. It rained quite a bit, and we were the only ones (at 19:00). But, we are not intimidated by water, so we continued with the idea. The guide... More

This is a 3 hour tour with people from all corners of the globe. While we walked, we learned a lot about the history of the castle and observed the interior of a bunker not open to the general public. This bunker was used as a fortified firing position in defense of the city, anticipating conflict with russia. At the... More

The tour is nice, but I guess the experience really depends on your guide. Our tour was a bit too long, it easily could have been shortened by walking and talking in a more energetic way. Also, keep in mind the weather, as most of the tour is walking outside, and some underground locations are also pretty chilly.

The first stop was the Roman Hall situated in the City Library at the beginning of Knez Mihailova Street. The building used to be the most famous hotel in Belgrade, the Serbian Crown, which was due to be converted into the city library. Architects dug out the basement only to find the foundations of a wall and tower of the... More

Probably one of the most boring tours that I have encountered and went on the recommendation in the LP guide. You spend most of your time walking above ground to go underground like in bunkers, under the library etc but these are not particularly amazing experiences. Guide was informative but a bit deadpan. Finished the tour with a big trek... More

We were in a very small group so we really enjoyed our underground tour. We visited the Belgrade underground from the roman period to the last century history going from the basement of ancient building, until hidden tunnel discovered after the cold war period. Although we expected some more "underground places" to go into, we have to say that the... More

This tour was exceptional. In addition to visiting 5 underground sites, we learnt a lot about the history of Belgrade and gained an insight into city life during the many wars. Our guide was very knowledgable and included a number of personal anecdotes to bring the tour to life. 3.5hrs long but the time flew!

We thought we were signing up for a 2+ hour tour that would be completely u underground. Instead it is 5 sights underground that you have to walk to above ground. While that's ok, its not what we thought it would be. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly and shed a lot of light on the history of this area.... More

We were really looking forward to this tour but thought it was 'average' for a paid tour. At the first stop the guide couldn't get the lights to work (in a public building) which may or may not have improved the roman ruins. We expected more underground places as opposed to just going downstairs and in a bunker. The guide... More
