These underground places present older layers of Belgrade that various cultures built over ramparts of the conquered city, a scenario which occurred 38 times. Stories of Serbia's turbulent history cannot be presented by a few visible remains. We have selected underground paths from the Roman, Austrian, Turkish and Serbian period to present to you. « less

We were really looking forward to this tour but thought it was 'average' for a paid tour. At the first stop the guide couldn't get the lights to work (in a public building) which may or may not have improved the roman ruins. We expected more underground places as opposed to just going downstairs and in a bunker. The guide... More

Don't bother, dishonest company. Tour guide was very selfish and took advantage of our kindness. You can do these trips yourself.

This must be the most misleading tour title I've ever come across. Forget that it has anything to do with underground. Yeah, ok, you will visit some underground locations like a couple of bunkers for the communist era, a well, a basement in the library and so on. But overall, this is a normal tour above ground. Thanks to a... More

Our guide was Ivan and he's the best guide we've ever had! Most part of the tour is at the castle area and Ivan knows all the information about it and knows how to tell it. Although our hangover of the night before we never got bored! Ivan is a very social guy and also told many things about Belgrade... More

I took a look of the bad reviews, since that is the first thing I do if I had a great experience. I think that these were the first flaws when they were starting. Also, I'm sure they pay close attention to this place, so you can voice your concerns here anonimously if for some reason you didn't want to... More

This tour was really fun. There is a great description of it with all the details, already written by another person (readyclickandgo) so I guess all I would add is, even if you have already visited Kalemegdan and the Roman Well (which is now open to the public until 6 p.m. every day, and has some museum type explanatory material... This is a great tour. You'll see an underground bunker at the fortress, make great walks and find out lots of interesting facts about Belgrade's history. Our guide was a great source of information and she made the tour even more fun. Also, we could enter the Roman Well at the fortress, which had been closed for 8 years. Please... More

The meeting point in the city centre was empty until 5 minutes before the walking tour supposed to start when suddenly another 30 people turned up. The first stop was the Roman Hall situated in the City Library at the beginning of Knez Mihailova Street. The building used to be the most famous hotel in Belgrade, the Serbian Crown, which... More
