Recently a small wolf attacked the child because he walked freely, it is inadmissible. This is not the first case. It is much better in Palic Zoo, where animals have a lot more space.

We went one morning hoping it would kill some time. We saw some birds and farm animals and thought that would be the extent of it. Nope! Next thing you know we are seeing lions and bears and zebras! We didn't expect that and ended up spending more time there than we planned, which was no problem :)

This Zoo is really nice! I didn't want to go because I read reviews like: "very sad place" and stuff. But really? If you are going to a Zoo you know that animals are not free (go to Open zoo guys!!). But whatever... my husband and I went... I can say that we had loooots of fun!! Of course got... More

Cheap entry!! Was expecting very bad treatment for the animals. Some animals are lonely and some poorly treated but I guess the zoo is trying to improve. There are a range of animals but I personally think it is lacking security wise. Lions and birds have the same mesh metal fence as treatment and there was a little boy so... More

I know that you can't expect a modern and animal friendly zoo in eastern countries, but still it is very sad how animals are treated here. Many of the animals have tiny cages and already developed stereotypes, such as running to and fro or just turning in circles. most of the animals have no grass to stand and walk on,... More

The ponds are terribly dirty, the animals scrawny and not well-fed and everything is just very, very sad. I love zoos in general, but there's nothing worse than visiting one where the animals are being treated this poorly. I haven't seen worse since visiting Vietnam several years ago. :-(

Zoo is not so big but you'll get tired. There were a lot of animals that you can touch. The zoo has only one elepfant but it was so funny!!

The animals are all in tiny cages and it stinks !! They all look miserable. They were all so hot and had nowhere to hide from the heat

The location of Belgrade Zoo alongside Kalemegdon Fortress makes it unique and architecturally very special. At the same time, the older enclosures that have been built using the walls of the Fortress are some of the most appalling I have seen. In particular the polar, brown and black bears that literally live in a world of concrete and hot stone... More

Zoo has lots of great animals: liger, arctic wolves, camels...and many babes born in the zoo. Very nice conditions, I liked how anumals look in terms of care. very sociable giraffe, friendly and likes to be cuddled. I propose this place for 2-3 hours visit not only for those with kids- it was interesting even for sole business trip free... More
