I only went to the Tesla museum because it's number one in Belgrade. That's according to this website, naturally. Anyway, it was about a 20-30 minute walk...got lost a few times cause I struggle with cyrilyc language as much as the next guy. Ticket is 500 Dinar (approx $7), and it's a really small building. You get to watch a... More

Read up on the background of this incredibly clever visionary before doing the museum tour. Check to make sure the times for either the Serbian or English tours. We had a very enthusiastic young guide, an engineering student at the local Uni, it was his first day and did an exceptional job.

I agree with some other reviewers that the dominant discourse presented here is a little over the top - no doubt Tesla was a genius but there must be a bit more to it than he was just cheated and noble and completely dedicated to science for the good of mankind. As my ten year old daughter pointed out, instead... More

This museum have a great potential, but they have a very poor presentation and lousy interaction with visitors.

The Museum is small and does have some great things going for it. They have Tesla's ashes in an urn, as well as many of his inventions. I have read many books on Tesla's life, and I felt like the plaques summarized much of Tesla's life, but missed much of his desperate struggle to invent and be respected while battling... More

We were lucky and arrived just in time for one of the English tours (it might be worth calling ahead to make sure you don't miss one and end up waiting hours for the next) Our guide was enthusiastic and hilarious. Not only that, but he really knew all his stuff and managed to field all questions asked about the... More

Well informed tour guide and fascinating "hands on" experiments. Informative film presentation at the start and then a very knowledgeable lady explained a lot about the history.

Make sure you call ahead and book a tour for though this is an intriguing little museum to one of the modern eras forgotten pioneers to get the full benefit of your admission you need to be on one of the guided tours rather than as an independent visitor. Unfortunately I arrived a couple of hours before the English tour... More

This was an odd little museum. Some quite cool demonstration with a requisite Tesla coil, some other neat exhibits, and a knowledgeable guide that spoke good English. On the information side, it was definitely a bit of propaganda. Just to be clear, this museum is a shrine to Tesla, and you will hear a number of exaggerations and misstatements about... More
