This museum is a nice way to spend an hour or so. The museum runs English tours regularly and provide a nice English short film on Nikola Tesla before the fun stuff begins. Just be warned that during our English session, people who did not speak English decided to speak all the way through which was highly frustrating!! The staff... More

I am someone who loves history and learning. I found this museum to be really informative and just 'neat'! They have a movie that they show that gives you a great background on Tesla that I woudn't miss and then just learning about him and his experiements is fascinating. Quite the forward thinker. The museum is small and can get... More

Nicolai Tesla is the man behind high voltage alternating current electricity transmissions and this museum is devoted to his life and his accomplishments. The museum is confined to a single floor in a magnificent building in Belgrade and Tesla is deified in the audio visual presentation. I advise that potential visitors visit when there is an English language guided tour... More

Visited the Tesla Museum by taking an inexpensive taxi both there and back to our hotel. The museum is small one one floor of a house and so only takes an hour or so. The young guide was terrific in demonstrating the scientific accomplishments of the amazing genius of Nikola Tesla and and the introductory film was most informative. During... More

Nicola Tesla was one of the great inventors of the modern age. His museum is average. The tour, in English, is a great addition to the small collection, and definitely worth the time. Unfortunately, even the enthusiasm of the guide could not make up for some defective pieces (broken light, low battery) and for the high price. Five euro's for... More

Yes, they have tours in English! This is a rarity in Serbia. A small but well-run museum dedicated to Tesla. I really enjoyed this place. They have reproductions of Tesla devices and actual Tesla stuff, like personal documents and tools. The coolest part is when they fire up demonstration devices. They hand out multi-colored flourescent tubes to the kids and... More

I was already warned that the museum was small, but I didn't expect it to be just a floor... The whole museum is maybe a mere 100 square meters...! The video and the guided tour are quite interesting!

I would think to most who don't know Tesla's story this may be more interesting and to those who already know him may find it disappointing. His achievements and small bits of history are covered as well as some demonstrations of his "gadgets". There are several of his original tools here in the museum as well as pieces of his... More

I only went to the Tesla museum because it's number one in Belgrade. That's according to this website, naturally. Anyway, it was about a 20-30 minute walk...got lost a few times cause I struggle with cyrilyc language as much as the next guy. Ticket is 500 Dinar (approx $7), and it's a really small building. You get to watch a... More
