After having been to a concert at the Romanian Athenaeum it was a bit offputting to see the state of this opera house; luckilly the performance of La Traviata made up for it, beautiful voices and staging, bravo! Let's hope that someone is planning on restoring the building... More

I'm returning here often for the plays. Also the hall with it great design and the orchestra performance must be remembered. I saw balet and opera plays, at least 30 times now Depending on personal taste, you may find the experience here very rewarding. Buy a ticket(is not so expensive) an try at least once the events here! More

The exterior is a reminiscence of 1950s architecture. The interior is to be renovated. The excellent artists deserve better conditions! More

It is nice to go on a Saturday evening to the opera. There are great and quality shows and if you decide to go the concert, you have to get tickets at least 2 weeks in advance. More

Unfortunately the turists are not alowed just to visit this building. It is very nice inside, it should be open for visit. From outside, nothing much to be seen. More
