Great for strolls,, runs, or bike rides. They have food kiosks situated throughout the park and be prepared to walk. One of the largest parks in Europe! Good place for kids to expend some energy. Hard Rock Cafe is within the park. Good stop off for lunch

It's probably the biggest park in Bucharest, but not one of my favorites. Having 3 kids we can't just walk in a park, we need places to play. Herastrau is a very large park with a small number of benches or playgrounds.

Very nice park with a big lake. You can rent a bike and see the hole park in ~ 1 hour. Many families come to the park with their kids.

Herastrau Park is large (especially if you are walking round it!) and pleasant, though not quite as well maintained or colourful as some other Parks in European capitals. But it is well worth spending a few hours there on a sunny day as there are plenty of cafés, a lake to sail on and some interesting monuments. Consider renting a... More

Is a big park with many flowers in the main part (entrance from Charles de Gaulle Square). You can walk, rent a bicycle, play tennis, do a cruise around the lake, drink a coffe or eat to good restaurants (but they are not cheap). There are many entrances, so if you want to go straight to pubs or tennis grounds... More

It is located in the quiet and luxurious area of Bucharest. It is near the village museum and worth seeing.

Great place to get back in touch with the nature, while in the city, no matter you are a couple, a family or solo. You can go with the bike, do yoga, meditate bare foot, play badminton or go for picnic on the lakeshore...whatever makes you happy and chill....

My son cruised around on his bicycle or sailed with friends. When pregnant my colleague and her husband took me almost daily for a one hour... More
