I was so jealous of Bucharest's parks and that was the bigger and very pretty and crowded! I suppose it will be even more beautiful in spring! You should go for a walk even if it's a little far away from the centre. Be cautious if you eat from the canteens along the way.

The park is impressive and well kept. I loved strolling through these areas. You could easily get here with a bus ride and is not far from the city center. The beauty of the place is enough to make you want to travel. The best part is that it is not just a simple park but also is a place... More

Myself and a friend enjoyed a walk through the park after visiting the Village Museum. Pros: -Clean and well-maintained grounds. -Numerous paths (many tree-lined) used by walkers, joggers, dog walkers and photographers. -Large lake. -I saw statues and busts, children's playgrounds and a water sports area. There were also refreshments stalls. Cons: -None I can think of.

For me this is the biggest and the most beautiful nature park in Bucharest. Is just 10 minutes by car from the center, the park is full of restaurants and coffee shop. I like to come there to walk alone or with my dog

What best than a big park, lake, boats, lots of trees, great for morning jogging and long romantic walks? Best recommended during autumn and spring for me. The Chinese garden is spectacular during spring!

Herastrau is a huge park with various activities available. The park itself is quite beautiful and is great for a relaxing walk. There are several restaurants and food stands of varying prices around the park. This is the location of the Hard Rock Cafe in Bucharest. There is a boat tour of the park in a large boat or you... Nice park with new improvements from year to year ... You can walk in the park or rent a boat/hydrobicycle or take a boat tour on the lake. Also some places to have a drink or some food ( Funky Lounge, Taverna Racilor, Hard Rock Cafe ... )

Herastrau Park is easy reachable by a twenty minute bus ride from University square, but there are many other connections to this old green park whose paths follow the lovely lake with the same name. Very well kept, clean, with plenty of nice benches everywhere, with water fountains, variety of flowers, grand old trees, and kiosks to buy snaks. People... More
