Cismigiu Gardens are nice for an afternoon walk or a beer or a glass of wine in the restaurant located at the small lake. If You are looking for a more extensive park with more options, You should head to the Herăstrău Park.

It has everything: benches, playgrounds, lawns, a lake with boats to rent, trees, chess tables and some old ruins. A lot to explore.

We visited in early November so the weather was sunny and mild and perfect for a bit of a walk. We hoofed it from our hotel to the nearest entry to the gardens which was maybe 8-10 minutes. The trees were great and provided plenty of shade. There are lots of benches all around and places just outside the park... More

Our hotel was nearby and we visited the park several times. Week-ends are fun with tons of families and weddings. You can get popcorn here. The layout is well done with lots of trees and places to sit. During the week, grannies and nannies take over ... a safe and pleasant place.

one of the oldest parks in town, might be enjoyed as a crowded place during holidays or weekends or as a place of leisurely stroll during week days...each one of us can find something to enjoy...just dare to discover this oasis in the middle of a busy town!

Well worth a visit in Summer or even Autumn and Spring. Nice place for picnic and just to sit and relax and watch the world go by.

I was looking forward to this stop, but it wasn't so much a garden as a slightly-larger-than-normal city park. There were a lot of people, so it's not as peaceful as some of the other parks. Also, don't get ice cream in the park! One, they don't speak English, and two, they charge 10 lei!

It was the first attraction we visited in Bucharest. We have returned 3 times to the park because my children loved it. We had a magicald paddle boat ride, my son did the Ballon on the water, and we had fun just walking in this small
