The tour was very informative and easy to understand. It did not go all around the city but to the key areas of interest. Easy to find the starting point.

What a wonderful tour! Andrei, our guide, was very welcoming, informative and amusing. I really enjoyed the mixture of local knowledge, political history, humour, folklore and personality in his narrative of this beautiful city. I would have been more than happy to have him guide me round the whole city, it's honestly one of the best tours I have been... More

This is good stuff if you like your walking tours and your history etc. I lived in Bucharest for nearly 5 years but they guy was still telling me stuff I didn't know. Only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is; I believe he could have taken us a bit further. On the map we only walked to a... More

The hostel I was staying at recommended this tour to me during my visit.. The tour was quite great and some 20 odd people had showed up for it.. Our guide, Adina, was great in briefing us on the history and significance of every stop along the way.. The tour room about two hours and provides you with a great... More

A very good walking tour! Anka had a huge group (50+) people that she handled very well on her own as there was no other guides to help out. She did her best to greet every person and introduce herself, and made sure the whole group could hear us at every stop. She had a lot of information and interesting... More

This free walking tour provided an excellent opportunity to learn about Bucharest. The tour guide was prompt and was easy to identify at the meeting point. He was very friendly, spoke excellent english, and kept the group all engaged and even allowed the group to stop for snack and water. I would definitely take the tour again if I ever... More

Special thanks to Andrei, our fun and knowledgeable guide. For about 2 hours he explained us historical facts about the romanian capital city. Despite the icy streets, everybody enjoyed the tour. In my opinion, the Old Princely Court and the Stavropoleos church been the highlights of the tour. The hot chocolate take away was a brilliant idea! Thank you walkabout... More

If you have the opportunity seek out Tudor to guide you on this tour. His knowledge of the history and political upheaval of Bucharest is impressive and he explains things with humour and enthusiasm and encourages questions. Very impressed and would highly recommend. Jenny UK
