These are popping up in a number of European cities and are just a great way to get introduced to a place. The young enthusiastic guides have all been terrific and don't forget to tip them, since that's the only way they get paid. Michael was my tour guide for almost three hours in Bucharest and did a great job... More

This was my third tour of the week and because it was free about 20 people turned up. I was happy to see that Mihai was our guide as I had my bike tour with him and I knew I was going to learn loads and laugh a lot. This tour takes into the old city and shows you many... More

a very nice way to learn about Bucharest's history and a nice long walk around! you notice many things that you won't see if you walk by yourself...the guides are really friendly and well-informed. Buildings in Bucharest have hidden stories that are revealed during this tour. it's a way to meet nice people as well!

First thing you must do when you visit Bucharest is to find Unirii square park (which is beautiful) and wait near the big clock near the fountains to join the Free walking tour. There is a tour daily at 10.30am and at 6pm. It lasts about 2.5 hours. Tour is really interesting and if you have Razvan as your guide... More

Definitely recommended for newcomers to Bucharest, like us. We learned a lot about history, culture, local traditions, places to eat, etc. The guide was a local, and her English was great. (The only downside was the popularity, so the group we joined were a bit too large for the tour to be effective. Maybe the morning tours are a better... More

My partner I did this walking tour back in June and I've felt guilty ever since for not writing a review considering our guide was so wonderful. So here it is, finally! Our guide told us to call him Mike for ease of pronunciation - apologies for not being able to remember his actual name. All I remember is that... More

We highly recommend this free walking tour. We have been to many of those free walks in Europe and we are pleased to say that this was one of the best experience we ever had. Mihaila, our tour guide, really touched us with the stories of Bucharest. She told us fun facts about the city and moving stories about the... More

Seriously, the most insightful and entertaining tour in Eastern Europe. We had low expectations about Bucharest, since it is not one of the main attractions in EE, however, Stefan the guide, was very knowledgeable and indeed shared a good number of stories with a seriously great sense of humor, unique of the Latin culture. Thank you!

Nice and enjoyable first contact of the city. Our guide, "Razden" (sorry for the misspelling) did it fun yet didactic. Unfortunately Adina didn't join us at the end but she was kind too. Good job!
