The quality of any tour lies in the guide - and Daniel was fantastic, telling us all about the sites we were seeing, but also talking about Romanian culture in a way that truly brought it alive. It also put big pieces of Romanian history into perspective for us. Go mid-week if you can to avoid the crowds. But go!... More

Went on the day tour to see the 2 castles. It was an amazing trip with amazing scenery, fantastic castles and the tour guide Serban was the best. He was an amazing guide with lots to tell us. Stopped when we wanted to and included us on what we wanted to do and when. The castles are quite unique especially... More

The day tour to Peles, Brasov and Bran was a unique opportunity to see the most of Transylvania's gems in only a few hours while staying in Bucharest. The trip, which I participated in at the beginning of September, 2014, was well organized and our guide was very helpful and informative. Booking the trip via the internet was uncomplicated and... We visited Bucharest this week and decided to take the 'Two Castles in One Day' tour with Travelmaker Bucharest Day Tours. The tour visits Peles Castle, Bran Castle (Dracula's gaff!), the city of Bran and also Brasov. My boyfriend uses a wheelchair and so we were advised to go on a private tour which involves less walking and meant we... More

We recently did the "two castles in a day tour". My memory of how to write our tour guide's name is very hazy but I believe it was Andrei Coca? I was very impressed with what he had to offer our group by the amount of knowledge he shared! His good sense of humour was also appreciated! I will most... More

We were a party of five (two couples and one single) and had a dedicated van and guide for five days of excursions. Including an overnight stay in Sighisoara, as well as being picked up and dropped at the airport, the total cost per person was unbelievably reasonable. We had a thorough city tour for one day, two days in... More

It was an excellent experience, it was a very professional service that combined both fun and culture. I strongly recommend taking this wonderful tour to Sinai, Romania to enjoy the beautiful Peles Summer Royal Palace with Serban Riga, the best tour guide.

When I booked the tour (at the eleventh hour), I was told there would be a group of 9. In the end, it was 15 and at Peles Castle, our tour group expanded to around 40! NOT my idea of a “small group”. All quite impersonal and whilst it gave the opportunity to catch a glimpse of part of Romania... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your review. At the moment you made the booking, there were another 9 people already signed up for the tour and we limited the group to 15 people to keep the group small and manageable. According to their policy, Peles castle is only visited in groups (sometimes very large) and this why your group inside... More

My husband and I took a tour of the medieval castles and fortified churches in Transylvania. It was just us and the guide. My husband, couldn't speak Romanian like me and the guide (Gabriel) was very skilled in communicating with him in English. Gabriel was extremely knowledgeable in the history of the churches and castles we visited along with the... More

Very interesting visit to attractions in stunning Transylvanian countryside led by a friendly and highly informative guide. A small group, so we travelled convivially in a minibus. Better not to do the trip on a Monday (which is the day we chose) because many atractions such as Peles Castle in Romania are closed on Mondays.

Thank you Sir! Indeed, Peles castle is closed on Mondays during the summer season and on Mondays and Tuesdays during the winter seson. On these days, the tour goes to Cantacuzino Palace in Busteni or Rasnov citadel which are also very interesting sites. More
