They have 4 types of beer: white, blonde, red and black, going up in strength. The red was my favourite. We were treated to some great food and beer and even given a tour of the brewery by the owners!

First of all this is a brewery with four types of beer brewed on location: white, blonde, rose and dark. Rose is great, blonde has an odd taste. Food is OK, although sometimes too spicy, which is explainable because owners are from India. It's situated on a distance from Old City, so it's unlikely you'll come here unintentionally. Happy hours... More

The building, the owners, the service and the food were excellent yesterday. The whole atmosphere was unique - may be it contributed a bit the blessed soft wind that blew or the Indian calm of Anita or just the perfect tandouri chicken with grilled vegetables, followed by the most surprising ice-cream I've ever eat...

The ambience was very relaxed and welcoming. The warmth and the attentiveness of the owners was lovely. The red beer recommended was unfiltered and not pasteurized giving it a very fresh taste.....accompanied with lamb kebabs was a wonderful combination.....,happiness

On Friday 31 July 2015, the BT Curry Club made an outing to a new venue for the club, Berestroika on Aleea Cauzasi, in central Bucharest, just east of Piata Unirii. The restaurant is modern an well-appointed with a large outside patio and inside rooms. We took a table outside on the patio. The key feature of Berestroika is the... More

My team and I have just left Berstroika, were we had lunch. We have tried among others the house specialties- the lamb Tikka, chicken Tandoor and the pork ribs together with their home made red beer, followed by Indian ice cream. The owners have done their best to bring the original Indian flavor to Bucharest and they have certainly succeeded!... More

We went here for the first time and def recommend it. The beers are all great (we tried them all) and the Indian food was fresh and delicious. You know it's the real deal when the owners are from India. Best of all was Anita, she is the absolute sweetest woman. She could not have been nicer or more welcoming.... More

I have been here a few weeks ago and the beer tasted like they have added water when they pored it into the glass, the waiter lied to us just to cover for his mistake (told us they didn't have a dish just because he forgot to order it from the kitchen). I used to go there with a group... More

The Romanian Cricket Federation hosted a dinner at Berestroika which was attended by the Luxembourg national team. A leisurely evening sitting out in the open air eating Indian food and sampling the various beers brewed on the premises was just what we needed, while the vaulted beer cellar inside would have been an atmospheric venue in colder weather. With four... More
