On the day we visited the weather was fantastic yet there were not many people to be seen. We hung out on the pebble beach but had been told that we should not swim in the water by one of the locals even though we were originally wanting to go there because of reviews online saying it was great for... This is great place to spend day with friends family. During summer you can swim,or just enjoy walking drinking coffee :-)!

Jarun is a wonderful place for biking, rollerblading and walking, it is a great pity that poorly maintained, and what is allowed cars to operate on him. Every weekend I was at the park

I am here to give directions! Lake Jarun is a man-made lake with pebble beach, clean water etc on the outskirts of the main city of Zagreb. If you have a spare couple of hours on a hot day it's worth going for a nice swim. The best tram stop is STAGLISCE which is closest to the lido area (10-15... More

This is a great place to relax in the summertime with a few cocktails and some friends. Very beautiful and clean. Nice at night for couples.

Beautiful park with plenty of water sports. We had the best Pizza in Croatia at a cafe on the lake. Locals are very friendly and will chat with you for hours. Facilities are good, handy tip, bring some toilet paper.

Very nice spot to relax and get out of the city. It was only a short taxi ride from the centre and was worth it for a bit of swimming. There are a few restaurants and places to get drinks but its not too busy or built up. No sad sadly but it's a man made beach in the middle... More

for my taste. Too many pubs that ruins that feeling "I'm in nature". To crowded in the summer. It's ok in the winter for walking and looking swans.

We visited on a hot July Sunday. Rain had been forecast so the park was quiet. Like much of Zagreb the park and lake are very clean and tidy and feel very safe. Lifeguards are to be found at regular intervals at the beaches. Getting to Jarun takes a bit of time by tram but it's cheap and you get... More
