Location of the InMusic Festival... A most go if you are there for it!!! A great place to hang out and also perfect for rowing. The beach is quiet and pretty too.

If you look at the reviews, you will see that it is the locals that give Jarun Lake 5 stars. International visitors, however, give the lake 3 stars. This lake is fantastic for those that live and work in Zagreb. It's a place for them to get exercise, rollerblade, run, row, bike, etc. There's some grass and some water. If... More

The place has the potential to be the main promenade of the city, unfortunately, it's pretty shabby and untidy, the lack of which is to allow traffic in most of these paths

This is a relaxing park best enjoyed with bicycle or rollerblades NOT walking. It does have swimming and sunbathing "beaches" but not attractive to someone like me born in the West Indies, but I can see how Croatians love it as getaway from city. Alongside this lake are many restaurants and cafes. Many locals come to this lake for leisure. As it is in Croatia, the beaches aren't sandy, so you may need beach shoes if you go into the water. It's lovely there. Jog, cycle, lie and relax. Have dinner then take a walk and go home.

It is not too far from the city's center and easily traveled to . . . you can take a stroll around the lake and then stop by one of cafes for coffee or a lunch and relax.
