I don't understand what's the hype about this place. First of all, it's not even a museum, it's definitely a business.. got all the old stuffs that people don't want to be reminded of broken relationships and put them together.. basically that's all! Please go somewhere else,. I got bored in just 5minutes.

Not your usual museum but I found it very interesting. Was a struggle sometimes to read all the exhibits if it is busy. You can get a bit sick of churches and museums and this is a nice break from the norm.

This is an enjoyable and novel exhibit. The exhibit consists of donated items. Each item is related to a broken relationship and is accompanied by a written explanation of the item's significance. Some are sad but resigned (broken romantic relationships), some are relieved (divorce from an unsuitable spouse) and one was heart-breaking (a mother's suicide note). This museum has a... More

It might sound obvious, but realizing this is an unconventional museum is essential to enjoying it. It's just a human, intimate trip through the experience of ending relationships as lived by people around the world. It's touching, funny, and sad. For me, the cheap admission and short amount of time we spent were well worth the chance to visit an... More

Interesting idea, lot of unusual exhibits, but on the other hand it is a moral and intimate reveal which I do not like. I expected more funny stories which happened to be true at the beginning of the exhibition but until the end, I felt really depressed. I would not recommend to visit this place if you are emotional person.

My wife and I visited the museum after reading many good reviews. While the concept is certainly interesting and unique, we both found it somewhat forced and a bit boring after a while. It probably would have been more interesting if some of the people were famous rather than John and Jane Doe.

You can go through it in an hour. Interesting to read the stories and the related artifacts from the relationships.

A long time ago, I read an article about this museum, and during my visit to Zagreb more or less bumped into it. The museum is not a museum in ordinary sense, it does not try to give an overview on a certain theme or period in history, but is more a "concept". You simply can't put on display examples... More

I expected more! The museum is small, there is only few interesting stories and there wasn't the famous wooden leg. I have to admit I was disappointed even though the ticket was only 20kn. The souvenir shop and the coffee shop were great!

Museum of Broken Relationships is not your ordinary museum. It's a bit quirky but a refreshing change from the normal art and history museum. Exhibit is well laid out with descriptions in English and Croatian. There is a shop with fun gifts and a cafe to have a drink before or afterwards.
