With lush decorations and furnishings, and an amazing neoclassical feel to, coupled with screenings of mostly independent/festival films, Kino Europa is truly a gem you will regret not discovering. A tight and rich schedule is maintained year throughout, with most Zagreb film festivals and other cinematic events taking place there.

Zagreb, capital of Croatia, 90 years old movie theater, city center, great location with parking nearby, friendly staff, real movie theater feeling. Cafe bar, with nice selection of beers and snacks as well.

One of the oldest movie theatres around, opened ninety years ago, is an excellent place for enjoying the good movie (mostly art and indie movies). During the day it is a very nice place for having a cup of (excellent) coffee.

Great movies (not the usual ones you can see everywhere else), great people. A great place to go for a coffee in the morning, a beer in the afternoon and a place to go out in the evenings. In the city center, close to everything, perfect place to find about latest news in the world.

During the day, I like to visit this place when I'm downtown to have a coffee or tea with a friend or an acquaintance. The parking is nearby and pretty cheap, and the Cvjetni Trg and the shopping and walking is nearby. It is even close to Trg Bana Jelacica, and in the evenings, very convenient to meet people before... More

This is one of the best places where you can genuinely enjoy, creative design of chairs ( as on movie set), also everyone is very friendly and relaxed ( both visitors and staff). It has a great position in the centre so you can drink a coffee during the day in enjoy the city sounds. And during the evening/ night... More

This is a quirky, old-style theater that seems to specialize in foreign films and lesser-known indie films. I was lucky enough to catch a film in English here (with Croatian subtitles, of course) and my ticket was just over 3€. Definitely worth it! If you are looking for a film in a particular language, I would recommend stopping by early... More

A beautiful interior of a building in the heart of Zagreb, with a large cinema theatre on the ground floor and a small one on the first floor (called "Muller"). There is usually a good selection of films, some nice cafes in the lobby and all around the building, you can even find a nice souvenir shop there.

Sometimes it can be hard to find a great place in Zagreb which is smoke-free. The good news is, Kino Europa is all that and more! It's a lovely spot, good prices, and there's always a good crowd. As there's often a film festival on you're very likely to run into someone mildly famous or at least catch a good... More

Very centrally positioned place to meet friends, have some coffee or drink. Works for the morning, through day long and late evening birds. Hosts some of the best Croatian film festivals. Even if nothing officially happening it is a good place to see and be seen.
