Mladost is a residential area full of the best of communist-era housing. I have no idea why a visitor would want to see it. If you live in Sofia, especially as a foreigner, you probably will end up in Mladost a lot but that doesn't make it anymore memorable.

If you want to see what happens to the typical "bedroom-districts" from the socialist era when someone builds a modern business park next to it, then you must visit "Mladost". One can see traffic jams, lack of parks, too many old blocks and too many new blocks with shops and restaurants in between. The quickest entrance and exit from this...
