We live in Istanbul so I wanted to see this mosque as it is one of the early works of the architect (Sinan) . Looks like it has been extensively renovated inside - new tiles etc but still lovely. More

This was my first visit to a Mosque so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was helped into the appropriate green hooded cloak which the women wear and ushered inside. Quite beautiful. I sat quietly until prayers were about to begin. More

If you come in Sofia - this can not plug it into your program. No big deal! The only mosque in Sofia. Through the years has been - prison, library and other. Is currently surrounded by beam construction of the new metro. In Sofia and Bulgaria other places that definitely worth it, but not this! More

Went there to pray, very beautiful on the inside but i was a bit ashamed of the trash outside, could be kept up more and was a bit worried that someone would steal my shoes, but a very nice place, just needs to be taken care of more, very nice for Sofia but then again i am sure you did... More
