The old town of Sarajevo, has some really nice places. I would only wish, that there would be fewer souvenir shops selling the same cheap stuff, and a more diverse supply of shops. It's not big enough to get lost, and really close to the more modern street and shopping malls. Go around, enjoy some coffee or a some food.... More

What a wonderful Old Town so full of character and interesting things to see. So many little streets running off the main ones and hidden gems to explore. Plenty of restaurants and gift shops. Nothing to dislike

Sarajevo is a city of massive contrasts. All around as you approach you can see the urban sprawl and almost stuck in the 80's feel of the place, but on entry to the old town it takes on a totally different feel. It is a place that is full of history, great food and a really friendly atmosphere. The food... More

Come to Sarajevo to remember, and come to Sarajevo to experience the beauty. This European styled city that has kept it's Asian feel from ottoman era is a diverse mix of cultures and religions coexisting peacefully. Wonderful place to walk around and take in the sights and sounds.

It is a very nice place to hang around, raising memories with the warm and old neighbourhood from the past. It is a small area which offers cosy and colorful souvenir shops, coffee houses and definitely good meal...It is a nice mosaic of the history and contemporary staff, nicely blended to comfort any visitor who seeks natural harmony and peace.

The place is really nice. It brings the flavor of the Middle East in Europe. The old market is picturesque and attractive for thoese that has never been in the Middle East.

It is a very good experience and please try to catch the free tour if you can, it will give you an overview IOC the city and you can decide afterwards what to visit deeply. The city center is small but all main attractions are near, I was very moved by the building left unrenovated just to remind people about... More

Not as charming as other European "old towns" but good nonetheless. Lot's of touristy junk shops. Many cafes to sit and just people watch.

This is where it all happens! Beautiful setting with wonderful little stores full of any kind of trinket you could wish for. Great places to eat, walk, people watch. Several places of worship and it's unique layout makes a true gem in Sarajevo's crown.
