I was utterly fascinated and engaged for hours. I wanted to understand more about Sarajevo and its C20 history, and what it was like to live through the siege - there's a lot to comprehend! Our guide was generous with her stories, likeable, informative, and easy to hang out with for a few hours. I'll do the tour again when... More

I've done many free walking tours but none of them blew me like this one! Neno was simply amazing. Clearly doing this because he loves too! The tour was a big group but it didn't seem to phase him. He delivered the tour with humour and a lot of knowledge, and also reflected in his personal experiences. He wanted us... More

Neno gave us a fantastic tour around the city. His knowledge and personal experiences gave us the ability to look at Sarajevo in a different light, an experience that would not have been possible otherwise. I highly recommend this tour. It was the best thing I did during my trip to the city!

Neno was a great guide and obviously very keen to show that Sarajevo isn't just about the bad things that have happened. The 2.5hr tour encompassed the old (ottoman etc) and newer (Bosnian conflict) history. He was very keen for us to ask any questions and told us personal stories about growing up and his family that gave a greater... More

Going with Neno on a private tour was the best thing we could have done! My wife and I decided we wanted a tour to understand the details of the country, Sarajevo and the war in the 90's, and it was totally worth every penny::: after seeing some key spots and hearing incredible stories that happened to him during the... Neno gave us a fantastic experience and lots of information of the cities history. We've done other walking tours in various cities but found this one to be the best by far. He's very open to any questions people have and is a very friendly and approachable person. Although it is a free tour, you can tip at the end... More

Excellent free tour, a must if you are in Sarajevo :) Merima was great. The tour lasts 2,5 hours more or less but it's not boring at all !

This walking tour was a great introduction to Sarajevo covering all that the city has been through and what it has to offer now. Neno was a great guide who has a real passion for the place. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone going to Sarajevo, I would say this is the best walking tour I've been on

Neno gives an excellent historical overview of the City and the country. Neno focuses the tour on a number of sights that are not part of the regular tourist circuit. Since it is 'pay what you can', the tour can get really big--ours included about 45 people.

Walking tour with Neno was a memorable experience. He manages to cover most important spots in the city and helps you to get better understanding of the region and Sarajevo's recent history. He was born in Sarajevo and as a kid also experienced the Bosnian war there which gives his explanation a unique perspective. Tip: Don't forget to make proper... More
