The guide Merima was incredibly well trained and personable sharing stories of how the city has arisen and changed over the years and giving us stories of what it has been like to grow up in Sarajevo and Bosnia in general. It is a very extensive and fun tour involving the key spots and including a map of the good... More

The Susan Sontag sign is easy to find. Neno starts off so passionately straight away and immediately grasps you. He knows Sarajevo very well and you can tell he's attached to this city. Great speaker, interesting facts, impressive city. I'd definitely recommend taking this tour! Valuable experience!

Definitely worth while, interesting and informative, giving personal recounts of the siege. Would recommend for anyone to do this tour. Even though it poured with rain the whole time, I am glad we did it and our guide tried to make it as interesting as possible.

Sarajevo has a very, very sad history. We feel, even 20 years after the war, the heavy energy this place and its people have. But, of course, full of history with you can lear with and think about life. The tour started where Franz Ferdnand died and motivated the begining of 1st World War. Hey, this is huge! What a... The tour with Neno was really great: 2,5 hrs with a good introduction into the history of Sarajevo and Bosnia. I can strongly recommend as this tour will give you a better understanding of what happened here.

I can only recommend to join the free walking tour with Neno! He is a very enthusiastic tour guide and will give you a perfect overview of the city's attractions and history. It was really touching listening to him talking about his childhood during the war. Make sure you give him a good tip if you liked the tour!

My tour conducted by Neno was great. Neno has a lot of knowledge about this amazing city and even has some personal memories of the 90s. The tour was very informative. I even wrote to Neno afterwards to remind me of a book he recommended and he replied not only with the book he spoke of, but other books and... More

We booked Neno as a private guide for 3 hours to get up to the Bobsleigh and visiting the Tunnel Museum. We met Neno at Latin Bridge where he already gave us a lot of Information about the City and the surroundings. After we have been driven up the mountain to different Points of the Bobsleigh and some very nice... More

Really informative tour including stories of how Neno and his family were affected in the war, which sort of puts it all into perspective. One of the best walking tours we have have done in Europe. Great recommendations for food and drinks too. Tip generously!
