As I live in Belarus- I can visit a lot of different places here- but the most lovevy as, certainly, Mir Castle- not really far from Minsk. Now it is already renovated and opened to the tourist. Moreover, different excursions are arranged, even in English. The best time for visiting is spring and summer. The hill itself is lovely, and... more

I visited the castle with my host family in 1999. It was undergoing rennovation but it was cool. There was a renaisance festival going on as well, so there were "knights" fighting and that kind of stuff. I really enjoyed it and was sad that I had forgotten my camera. more
