Is nice to get away from the heat and the smoke of the city. You can do a few activities such a horse ride or a gunshot game. Food is good I would say bit expensive, but if you drive towards Tirana from Dajti Mountain I would suggest you stop to a place call "Dy luanet" restaurant. And the food... More

At the top of cable car there is a map showing multiple hiking trails. But we found none that we could take, and no signs. We found a very nice restaurant, but otherwise lots of trash, no signs, a dilapidated abandoned building once used for children's summer camps, but now serving as refuge for wild horses and a nasty dog.

After a 20 minutes long cable car ride we ended up on Dajti Mountain. The view over Tirana is amazing in good weather. Horse riding and air gun shooting are funny programs. Walking and hiking in between beautiful trees and ugly bunkers makes it an interesting experience.

After the cable car ride we hiked to the top of Dajti. We began the hike by following a group of tourists towards the abandoned communist hotel... then all of a sudden... ARRRAARRARRRARRR... a mad dog runs out of the hotel and attacks them. After that they were out of there! We looked around for a bit and noticed a... More

Nice view over the city and mountains. I expected a little bit less tourits, but the pictures I took faded that away.

Take the Teleferiku Dajti Ekspres Cablecar, the longest in the Balkans, to the top of Mount Dajti. It offers spectacular views of the National Forest and Tirana. On top there is a restaurant and hotel and a children's park but the 800 LEK per person round trip, it is worth just the ride up and down. Near the Eastern edge... More

It's definitely worth a visit. It's a gateway from the hot temperatures in the city. Great place to spend time with loved ones. The view is definitely worth the drive/ride. I recommend it.

Hiking trails can be found in wiki-map for Dajti. Some good restaurants up there but don't expect great service. Good outdoor option to explore very close to Tirana.

It was very nice to visit this place. The restaurant was really nice on the top. The waiters were so kind and good & very nice panoramic view of Tirana. Recommended.

We took the bus and walked to the cable car. On top I suggest you hike to the peak of mount Djati (1:30h), as there is not much else to do. Afterwards have lunch in the excellent restaurant, balcony of Djati and enjoy the view!
