I actually visited Seoul at the beginning of May 2009, just after North Korea released a missile, the tension was high, South Korea were on high alert.. I had business in Seoul so took a day off to tour the DMZ and Panmunjon and the 3rd Tunnel. This was a full day tour, cost 120 000 Korean Won but worth... more

Visited the DMZ and went down the 3rd tunnel (which including a hard climd down a 350 metre slope) which was very interesting, although they would not allow any photos which is a bit odd. Trip was half day tour booked at hotel in seoul - left at 0800 and back in seoul at 1400. The tour guide was excellent... more
