We took the Aremiti 5 fast ferry back and forth to Mo'orea from Pape'ete. The crossing only took 30 minutes and the vessel was clean and in good repair. You do not have any choice, it is the Aremiti to reach Moorea with a car, or a five minutes flight with a rental or a taxi for the day or a bus on the other side. More

It's a ferry to Moorea and that's pretty much it - 1500 francs one way. Ran on time, and food and drink on board and was comfortable. Nice trip which takes about 30 minutes More

Got the ferry from papeete to moorea, great journey, BUT appalling service at the snacks bar, one server Donna I think her name was very rude and seemed only to serve the Tahitians even if you were before them, I noticed she did the same thing to an american guy too, I got so pissed off that I walked off... One way fare 1450 xpf - no discount if you book return journey. The catamaran is smooth, comfortable and takes less than 30 minutes. Frequent service during weekdays, less on weekends. Both the the ferry & catamaran can accommodate vehicles. More
