What a marvellous journey in a 4 WD way up about 4000 ft into the centre of the island. Although the road was pot-holed and bumpy, our young male guide was more than able for it! Although it is still the 'dry' season, the waterfalls, although not completely 'flush', were lovely to see in the distance, cascading down. A nice... More

Take lots of bug spray. The drive into the volcano was interesting but not spectacular. Our 4WD driver was excellent but everywhere we stopped we got attacked by mosquitoes.

It was a stunning experience to see the inland of Tahiti. Waterfalls and mountains. The guide was very informative re the plants, fruits etc.

Fun 4WD trip, very scenic and small waterfalls, swim in a small river made from the waterfall (very cold). A great 3 hour trip.

We booked the tour directly with Arnaud via email. He was prompt in replying and we had several email exchanges before our arrival. Originally we had booked a group of 8 people for a half-day morning tour to the interior to see the waterfalls. Other friends also wanted to do the tour so he offered an afternoon tour for them.... The guides were well versed on the local history, sites, and sounds. The value and quality were very good. The trip to Moorea was outstanding as well!

Our driver/tour guide, Alaine, was a WONDERFUL ambassador for the island as a whole. He knew so much about the flora, landscape, and history of Tahiti. He stopped and let us swim in this beautiful lagoon along the side of the road, he stopped the truck and ran into the jungle more than once to produce some vegetation he wanted... More

My husband and I did a half day tour after contacting the company directly when in Tahiti. While the tour was good ( it was just the 2 of us) we mainly spent time travelling up one mountain and seeing the same views of Moorea and then looked out over a valley on the other side of the peak. The... More

I booked this direct with Arnaud via email based on forum comments and it was just the most amazing day. Everything was flexible and nothing was rushed. Arnaud speaks English very well and is full of information about nature and Tahiti itself. We had kids ranging from 8 to 18 years with us, 5 in total and every single one... More
