Fiji's original jet-boat safari, Sigatoka River Safari offers a half-day, uniquely Fijian adventure into the heart and soul of Fiji, aboard custom-built safari jet boats. Passengers will travel along the Sigatoka River in jet boats to visit authentic Fijian villages and experience a day in the life of the real ‘kaiviti’ (Fijian). To bring the safari to life, a driver/ guide is assigned to each group and introduces passengers to the rich culture of the Fijian people and shares the history, customs and legends of the area. Sigatoka River Safari, won Best Fiji Experience in 2008 and Best Adventure Tour in 2007 at the annual AON Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards.

This is truly a great experience. Taking in the beautiful country with knowledgeable and friendly guides. The village tour and kava ceremony is truly a wonderful insight into the lives of the Fijian people. My children 9 and 7, had a wonderful time, experiencing the culture and playing with the children in the village. They still talk about the experience...and... More

Unreal day! Had captain Mike and could not fault the day. Beware it's not a half day tour even though you pay for a half day tour, the don't rush, it's a great day tour loved every minute of it! They take you to Tapoo first to change buses please buy a gift for the village; you have no idea... More

This jetboat experience would have to be the highlight of my trip! visiting the villiage and understanding their culture and customs was very special. the children in the villiage are so warm, and so happy. The jetboat experience was adrenaline charged and a great way to experience the inner part of Fiji.

We only did the short river run this time but great fun. Just two adults and a 7 yr old with Capt Mike. Anyone who visits Fiji needs to do a river ride in jets boats. Next visit we will do the full tour. A great afternoon. Pick up from hotel/resort.

I am so glad that we did the Sigatoka River Safari. Captain Leps was a wealth of knowledge with a terrific sense of humour. The visit to the Village of Toga was just amazing. Our host, Amos, made all of us feel so welcome. It really did feel as though we were visiting long lost friends. After meeting some of... More

Had the best experience on the sigatoka river safari. Captain freddy was a wealth of knowledge and the 360's in the jet boat were great. The local village we visited was just a breath taking experience, they were just so excited to see us and so friendly.

The most awesome day we had in Fiji. I would recommend this to everyone. The staff are very professional, the village that we visited was very hospitable, the lunch was delicious and the boat ride was fantastic.

This was our second time on the Safari and it didn't disappoint. The trip up the river was exciting and fun and our captain was informative and entertaining. The village visit to Korovua (I think that's spelt right) was wonderful, I feel like we have a new family. We were welcomed into their home and provided lunch, a traditional ceremony... More

It's an early start about 7am from Denarau (Sofitel) A coach picks you up then goes to Sigatoka Town . Here you have a 10 minute stop at tappoo souvenirs and toilet break. Then the mini coach takes you to the river where the jetboats are. Here they give you a life jacket and puncho to put on. Our character... More
