We don't really like Denerau as it seems very commercial. We prefer to feel like we're in another country and Denerau feels more like being on the Gold Coast.

Water is a merky brown from the near by river run off. no snorkeling. feels more like a dirty lake as the fresh water sits on top.

While Fiji has better, bigger and more beautiful beaches than Denerau Beach, none are better equipped and supported for the tourist. Just about every beach activity is available plus Denerau is a jumping off place for tours and other activities as well as being home to several five star hotels. Wexcellent bars, restaurants and water activities are all mingled together...

Denarau beach is a black and beach. It is not your classic postcard white sand with blue water you may be expecting from the brochures. If you want the white sand and blue water, you will need to head to the islands.

5 star hotels with colourful landscaped gardens and pools dotted along the length of the beach area. The beach itself is not great with its imported sand ,Not known for snorkelling .However a favourite drawcard for tourists, seeking the nice hotels and their pools
