Located in nadi the denarau beach has endless beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Home to some of the best resorts in fiji, and port denarau. Go for a day or for a week you will always be greeted by the beautiful FIjian smiles everywhere.

We stayed at the Wyndham resort then walked around denarau where all the nice hotels are and there all on the beach front where the christalclear water and Fijian heat makes you want to go for a swim and if you want to go to town from denarau a yellow bus will take you there for one dollar each way... A big strip of very nice resorts. Busses run back and forth to Nani Town for $1.15 one way. From airport side you need to get out at turn off roundabout and catch another bus in to Denarau. Forget the Bula busses. They are $8 for a day ticket. Good walk around the strip via the coast Stopping at resorts... More

The beach was beautiful!! We stayed at the Sofitel, and the morning walks on the beach was simply perfect. It wasn't the best white-sand beach, and doesn't have the best waves but if you're booked into a resort along the beach, then you'll love the view and the sound of water.

Beautiful location. Breathtaking. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room could be a little Cleaner. Food at the resort is extremely over priced.

Other than the resorts, the island offers nothing else. Beaches are not great, sand is almost blackened & water is very murky. Only good thing is the fantastic view of the sunset in the evening, particularly from one of the resorts or restaurants in the port. Was quite disappointed as I was expecting so much more, esp when the brochures... More

Upmarket resorts and shops, could be anywhere in the world where there are boats and it's hot! American restaurants, big hotels, golf courses. Not what we were looking for but perfectly nice and very clean...

We walked around the shops at Port Denarau. They have lots of restaurants also. The harbor was really pretty as the sun set when we were there. They have the Bula bus that drops you and picks you up from your hotel. It was o.k; at least we can say we've been there!.

Denarau's OK, but to call it a 'beach' is a bit of a stretch. Apparently there are some sandy bits if you stay in the plush resort hotels, but if you're just wandering in for a look, there's no sand to speak of, and you won't find that Fijian beach you've been promised on the postcard! But, the food's pretty... More

Although bear in mind this is a man made beach and not the clear beaches that you would see in the inner islands, the beach was still pretty awesome. Good for walks along the sea and the sand is very soft to walk on.Lot of people doing thier own thing
