The cheapest place to eat on Denaru is the golf club and is great for children, but the pizzas are $13 and that is it really, everything else is 4*+ and if you want a nice restaurant with a bottle of wine its approx $100 per head in most restaurants, the Mexican at the Wyndham has better prices and is... Stay away from Denerau prices and food. It is touristy and the prices are way too expensive!! Get a rental car and drive around the island and explore different villages.

It's easy to reach Denarau by bus from Nadi. A small town by the Marina with a variety of shops and different restaurants - I can specially recommend Nadina Restaurant with authentic Fidjian cuisine. One day was not enough so I will go back today and perhaps remaining days - I'm only sorry I didn't book hotel in that area!... More

The denarau beach is located amidst some of the nicest hotels and resorts in Fiji. It is a great place to bring your family or if your traveling alone it can also be a nice quiet and serene get away. Also, the sunsets are picture perfect!

Denarau is a dirty beach filled with huge chain resorts that you could find anywhere in the world. If you want to see the real Fiji, go elsewhere.

One can never have seen too many sunsets! We went here after visiting the Big Bula and other local attractions. Great options for family friendly dining too.

Sit by the beach and watch the beautiful sunsets and moon rises whilst sipping on a cocktail. And if you get hot, have a dip in the water.

There is a path almost all the way along now that the sea walls have been finished. You can walk from the Hilton all the way up to Wyndham. Great to look at the menus for all the restaurants at the resorts and a lot of choice. Also good for sundowner cocktails.

There are two stretches of the beach on either side of Westin. Unfortunately it is all rocky in front of Westin, but once you get towards Sheraton on the west of Sofitel on the east, the beach is better. It is not possible to walk during high tide as the water gets too close to the resorts. The walk towards... More
