We had breakfast here and we enjoyed the bright and breezy staff. The food was not overcooked, a yummy breakfast. Then we strolled around Denarau

I hate to say it... but the beaches on the islands around fiji were much better. Denarau Beach is not super white or fluffy. One side was softer and bigger beach - the older hotel side, but still, it wasn't the most beautiful beach. Beautiful beaches are in Anguilla, Exumas, Bora Bora (not the main island), Turks.

Easy to access from any of the resorts and it was also clean. Waves are smooth and the water is always warm - even in the evening and early morning.

Good restaurants. Neater place than Nadi. It is a tourists place and everything is tourist prices. From main Nadi town, the bus fare to Denarau is $1 per person.

Very good place to have lunch with a sea views. Food is just like in NZ, no difference. Great value and service.

Brown sand and slightly murky water and most seem to swim in the pools of the five hotels along the foreshore. What a waste of ocean.Always enjoy a swim there especially when the waves are running.

Nice enough! It's not your white sand tropical beach but we knew that ! Nice for a wander and even a swim and certainly works well as a location for all the resorts.

You do not and should not say you have been to beach unless you have been to a real beach...Denarau is man made and thus looks man made and is primarily a development for fancy resorts, where people swim in fancy pools. For beach action drive to the Coral Coast or take a day trip to one of the outer... More

We stayed at Denarau island at the Wyndham and were very disappointed in the beach. It was a beautiful view, but awful to swim in. The water was very dirty, and the beach full of rubbish..cabbage heads, milk cartons and plastic. Very poor for a five star resort.
