Certainly worth a visit. We were told by a local that the mud had healing qualities. When you are changed into your bathers you are instructed to plaster yourself in mud and then allow it to dry. Then into the mud pool to wash yourself off before heading into the glorious hot springs - loved it.

If you want to experience something different without the hustle and bustle of lots of tourists, then the Hot Springs and Mud Pools are for you. It is literally near very little else and located on the sacred land of one of the villages. You can catch a tour here, but I recommend catching the local WestBus from your resort... More

We enjoyed our visit to the mud baths. It's about 5 minutes drive from the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. All money goes directly to the local village. It was fun to cake ourselves in mud and it felt great when the mud dried. The hot springs were really refreshing after we had washed the mud off us. At the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed plastering ourselves with mud, standing in the sun to dry out....then washing off in hot springs. A completely different way to spend our 45th wedding anniversary. The guy in charge takes great photos on your cameras. Good fun.

This was one of the best things we did while in Fiji, we all slept like a baby after visiting the springs and would suggest this is a "must do" when in Fiji. We all can't wait to go back.

I have never experienced anything like this. It was such good fun. First you get covered in mud from head to toe. Then you get dipped in a mud pool to wash most of the mud off and then into a warm spring pool. I never laughed so much with mud oozing through my toes. A nice bonus at the... More

If you are looking to get the kids out of the resort and into something with a more real Fiji feel then this is perfect. The owners are down to earth lovely people and the experience is one to remember! The mud bath is fantastic and a good laugh with the family. Springs are so warm it is amazing. Well... More

I've been to other mud pools before but this mud pool was very different to the others that I have been to. There was small buckets full of thick mud but you have to put all over your body and this was the thickest mud I've put on before. After, we got into the one pool which had a cooler... More

Well worth the trip to see this natural wonder. The majestic mountains in the background alone are stunning. Our guide was gentle as he explained what to do with the mud. We had a good laugh. It's true your skin feels amazing afterwards and our taxi driver noticed how my daughter and my noses cleared up (we had both been... More
