For about $20 Fijian, you must go to the mud pools when you're in Fiji. You get to cover yourself in volcanic mud, head to toe, as your guide takes photo's for you and shares the history of the site and the mystical qualities of the mud. Then you get to wash off in the warm, clean (they drain and... More

You don't have to take a scheduled tour to visit this amazing place. Talk to a local taxi and get a price for them to take you and wait for you, you need at least an hour, better 90 minutes at the mud springs. On the way out you can also pay a visit to the Garden of the Sleeping... More

An experience not to be missed! When can you ever lather yourself in mud and it be normal? The first spring is gross, thick sludge on the bottom of leaves and mud but is good for a laugh when everyone's faces screw up when they get in. Second spring is the good one, like a big hot bath.

we went from our resort by Ben the taxi man. He waited while we did the mud pools and massage. Felt like real Fiji, not commercialised which was great. We thought we would enter the pool to get the mud on but it is from buckets. Once we were smothered you need to see the wares for sale from local... More

teens will not probably enjoy this. the mud pool is sticky under then the hot spring is hot that can burn you if you're not use to that kind of temperature. the massage was good though.

This was a real fun experience. Getting plastered in mud in one pool, and washing off in another. That night I had the best sleep I have had for ages. Good to know the money is going direct to the community as well.

That was a really cool bathing in the warm mud. Funny thing that we went there together with the promo manager of Madonna in one hotel cab and really enjoyed the company and mud bathing. very funny to see all people faces feeling disgust from the bottom of that pool. There is a warm natural fountain nearby - 5 min... More

I usually love spa experience like body wrap/scrub & hot springs, so I was looking forward to this while in Nadi. It was all fun covering ourselves with mud but it got a little strange once we were in the first pool. Our guide/owner(?) took his swim trunk off (!!) in the pool and grabbed and touched us telling some... More
