We had a very nice time with a very good guide, Ilami. Felt like new born and would like very much to come again. Easy with bus from Nadi. Flemming and Grete from Denmark

We visited the mud pools as part of a 1/2 day tour with Westerzaif Tours - Junior and Wasim were our guides and they were fantastic. Junior joined in with the boys and made it so much fun doing the mud cover up part - I took photos and kept clean! A must do as part of a visit to... More

After leaving the First Landing Resort in our hire car we headed for the Coral Coast. Along the way we stopped off at the Hot Springs and Mud Pool. This was a fantastic experience for all the family and didn't cost a great deal (approx $40AUD for 2 adults and 2 kids) the mud was so smooth and the hot... More

The mud pools are a few kms past the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. There are 2 next to each other, we went in to the first ones you reach. The others seemed much busier as used by the tour buses. We paid $20 each. First you cover yourself in warm mud from a bucket. While the mud is setting... More

Hired a car on airport arrival and drove to Denarau resort. Went on this excursion the next day -bit worried as the road deteriorated but at last we found it! Delightful, village style attraction, with pretty gardens and delightful people. The mud thing seems crazy and you have to the right people to enjoy it - we loved it-smearing mud... More

We were recommended to do this before we came to Fiji. The whole set up is very basic; a back to nature type experience run by the local village owners. The mud spring is about 30 minutes drive from Denarau. The taxi cost 140 Fiji $ and the driver waited for the 2 hours we were there. The therapeutic benefits... More

After a 7 day sailing trip around Tonga we (four couples) had a couple of days layover in Fiji before returning to the states. Decided to do the Mud Pool Tour just for fun. After arriving we all put on our swim suites and covered our entire body with thick mud. Yes even our faces got a good dose of... More

Just savour the Fijian experience - cover yourself in mud, dry off then rinse off in a hot pool. Great way to spend a few hours. We had a Fijian massage afterwards with coconut oil - well worth the FD45 I think. Cold showers and very basic facilities don't detract from this place's quaintness. A few stalls selling Fijian trinkets... More
