The scents, starting at sunrise, and never ending have to be smelt to be believed. We make here the most delicate of perfumes, complimentary body cosmetics, candles. Finally our local fruit liqueurs bring flavor as well as scents to the palate. Our Factory in Panama welcomes you and shows you how our various products are made, whilst in the Cook's Corner we have our famous Fudge Factory! While the scents here are very rich, I came away with the Vanilla Coconut Perfume which I love! I also bought some Coconut Oil which doesn't seem to like the NZ climate, not hot enough here!

Kia Orana. Sorry New Zealand is so cold! Just pop your coconut oil bottle in some warm water and it will come back to the clear liquid you were expecting. It solidifies at about 16C I'm afraid! More

I had come across the Perfumes of Rarotonga when researching things to do on my upcoming trip. I was really excited to visit because I have been after some natural perfumes. I had the intention of buying quite a few perfumes to take home. I first went to the factory. I wandered around and checked it all out but the... More

If you are looking for black pearl jewelry, this is the place to go. Very large selection with great variety of designs and wide range of prices.

I visited 7 years ago and at the time was very impressed, buying multiple items to bring home as gifts as well as pampering for myself. Maybe it was the fact that I visited the factory outlet this go-round, but like others felt, the prices are quite high. Also, the selection hasn't changed, nor has the packaging/hard to read labeling... More

Items were much higher priced than other places. One of the sales people was VERY rude. Got fudge there a few times and she totally ripped us off twice!! The other sales girl was very nice, very friendly and much more honest. Pros - the fudge is VERY good!!

I'm terribly sad that you feel "ripped off" by one of our staff and will investigate further. Please contact me personally on colin@perfumes.co.ck with more information. All of our product is weighed in view of the shop so there is no reason why this should have occured. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Glad you liked the fudge! More

We went into the store looking for island fragrances and perfumes, and were pleasantly disappointed. The prices were steep, and we felt the quality of the products were not up to standards seen in other pacific island locations (e.g. Tahiti). The CITC down the street had better selection and pricing.

We try very hard to make everybody's experience in our store and our factory an enjoyable one and are so upset that you did not enjoy yoruself. All of our island fragrances, body care and coconut soap and oil products are made by hand in our small local factory - and you would have been most welcome to visit there.... More

A trip to Rarotonga wouldn't be complete without going to Perfumes of Rarotonga to purchase gifts to take home with me. A lovely store with lovely things.

Located at the bus terminus in the centre of town, this is an air conditioned paradise! Your sense of smell is pleasantly assaulted upon entering with a wide variety of perfumes. The kitchen at the rear is the fudge factory where individual pieces or assorted gift boxes can be purchased. Ask for a sample before you decide, the fresh fruit... More

Yes, this shop is great for perfumes, etc. but the highlight is the homemade fudge shop in the rear of the store. And yes, there is free tastings of the fudge. This is the only local candymaking done on the island and there is usually ten or more flavors to pick from. My favorite - banana....Enjoy.
