Great movie theatre that reminds me of 90's NZ. Very friendly & a great addition to Raro for those rainy days!

I went and watched "Hercules" a week before any freinds and family could watch it in New Zealand. It just happened to be a regular "Community Fundraiser" for a local school so the price was only $10 and it was a sold out event with pretty much a few 100 locals and myself lol. It was one of the highlights... More

when we first walked in the cinema smelled strongly of mildew, and the seats are definitely quite worn. but the screen quality is great, and once you get used to the smell it's a pretty interesting movie experience that you wouldn't get in most places!

Went and saw Pompeii the night of Mon 31 mar. The theatre was larger than I expected and the seats were comfortable....The theatre did smell mouldy though. The popcorn machine in the foyer looked like it hadn't been used in years!

It has to be rated excellent as it is the only movie theatre in the entire country. Lately most movies are shown both in 3d and 2d

Not too expensive and, since it is the only cinema on Rarotonga, OK. Film projection and sound quality were fine.

A nice surprise. Large movie theatre with comfortable seats. We saw a movie in 3D, Very impressive. Only negative was that I was told that they had "air conditioning". Turns out that meant several oscillating fans placed above the back row. Otherwise it was great.

We went here last week to see the hobbit in 3d and really enjoyed it. It's $14.50 for an adult ticket, and the cinema is air-conditioned and a good size .. You can also purchase bags of popcorn and bottled drinks etc
