We lucked out with the english speaking tour as it was much smaller than the 2 being run in Spanish. So much so that some bilingual tourists audibled over to our group for a more intimate tour. Either way, this place has some nice history, the tour was short and sweet and while not as glamorous as the one in... More

We booked for an orchestral concert at the last minute. Few seats were left but we were fortunate in finding better seats where the audience members hadn't turned up. Recommend anyone to try and see something here and enjoy the atmosphere.

Teatro Solis is a unique music hall. It is not an enormous but everywhere tou go is adequate. The restaurant and the bar are interesting. The shop could be better. The sound is really good and the local Orchestra knows what to do on the stage.

The Solis is indeed a gem, beautiful inside and out. But do try and see a performance when the place really comes alive. I bought a 'restricted view' seat to see the brilliant Moscow Soloists. To my surprise I had a perfect view of the full stage and had a superb evening. The box office staff were very friendly and... More

We went to a Philharmonic concert and were amazed with the gorgeous theater on the outside and the inside. While not as grand in the concert hall as the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires it is an impressive and beautiful theater. Well worth the visit for a show or one of their tours. The cafe at the Solis was really... More

If you happen to be on a tuesday in the city, you may want to check Theatre Solis' website to see if you can attend one of these concerts. They are really amazing :) The theatre is really nice. They have a really good cafeteria, and next to the theatre a restaurant that's very trendy (Rara Avis).

Occupying a Prominent corner of the square/plaza this building with its fantastic architecture rests.Inside it is equally beautiful , maybe dramatic ! ! ! If you can see a performance while you are here you wont regret the experience.

My mom and I stopped in for a tour of Teatro Solis on a trip we took to Montevideo last year. I wish I had written this review sooner! The theater is absolutely beautiful, and the visit was made better by the tour we took. Teatro Solis offers tours in many languages, but unlike many places, the tours were given... More
