Gorgeous European opera house, in tranquil Montevideo. From another, more elegant time. Terrific, international artists/ productions, during the season and tours, all year round. Beautiful to see, either way! More

This theater is very important to uruguayan people, but it's not so attractive for the tourists. The central location is the only reason that can make you visit it. More

In the heart of Montevideo, Teatro Solis is a beautiful theatre recently renovated. Taking a tour is a nice experience and will allow you to have an ideia of its importance in the cultural scene of the 30's. It is for sure worth a visit. More

Saw a modern ballet in the small venue. Very comfortable seats and great site lines. The main venues offering was too expensive for this budget traveler. More
