my friend and i went without a reservation and the waiting staff looked at us like we were lepers. there was no dancing, nor was there sufficient space for dancing if anybody wanted to do so. perhaps they throw the tables over the balcony after 0100. so after waiting for drinks for 20 minutes we left. more
This is a very old bar, over 110 years old, located close to the Mercado Central in Montevideo (behind the Teatro Solis). We went there on a Friday evening, without reservations; the place was full.
