I went here with a large group and was not dissapointed. We were given the option to either stay on the bus or take a tour of this place, and to be honest I almost stayed on the bus, but I WAS SO HAPPY that I went in and took the tour. It was awesome and really cool. On the... More

I have been here numerous times over the past 15 years, and never been disappointed. The creator of the designs is known internationally, and he and his wife are gracious and informative. The staff is delightful. You couldn't find a better gift or your own memento of your trip than buying something there that will certainly be beautiful and unique.... More

My wife and I stopped by Ceramicas Seminario on our way from Cuzco to Michu Picchu with a private tour guide. The studio sells beautiful ceramic arts as well as practical things like bowls, plates and mugs. My wife bought an absolutely beautiful wall art which depicts the 12 months of the year. The studio shipped the purchased items to... More

The selection of bowls, vases, mugs, and wall pieces is broad and terrific. The staff easily packed up our purchases with bubble wrap into an easy to carry on box for travel and everything arrived in one piece. Don't be afraid to ring the bell. You will enjoy the visit.

I bought a very large vase, approximately 29" tall. The staff crated it and shipped it to my office in Los Angeles via DHL. It arrived in perfect condition. While you might be tempted to limit yourself to buying things you can carry home, I can assure you that shipping is a very good option. It's pricey, but worth it.

We stopped after lunch having read about Pablo Seminario's work. The space is very welcoming and beautiful and we were first offered a chance to watch a short video of the process and techniques used here. The exhibit rooms are designed to adequately display the collective's work and we were delighted to browse without any pressure to buy or pressure... More

We stopped here on our way through the Sacred Valley. Seminario replicates and expands on the traditions and techniques of the valley. You get a chance to tour through and see the work at various stages and watch them use some of the ancient ways of decorating the pottery. You can of course leave with some, which we did.

Magical Cuzco Tours organized our visit to the workshop for our family adventure tour. We thought it would be a good break for our kids. It was a treat for the whole family. First we saw a short video about Pablo Seminario and his work. Then we had a tour of the grounds by his son. We visited Pablo in... More

This is a private ceramic workshop, artist's studio, gallery and gift shop where a wide variety of one-of-a-kind utilitarian ceramics and sculptural art pieces are exhibited and offered for sale. Established by international ceramic artist Pablo Seminario, private tours of the facility are available. Our tour guide was a good friend of the artist and scheduled a visit during our... More

We visited with the artist and his family on our way to Machu Picchu. A video presentation introduced us to the artist and his work and then his son showed us around their compound. The tour included demonstrations and discussions about the clay, the molding and painting techniques and the drying/firing. After the tour we were invited to create ceramic... More
