We visited this place at the recommendation of our guide and so glad we did. I came home with the most beautiful framed piece of art and was fortunate to be there when the artist was so I could meet him and hear him speak a bit about his trade. The place is well-staffed, open and friendly. We loved the... More

Wow - this was such a memorable treat! The workshops were inspiring, the artists were admirable, and the pottery and ceramics were exquisite. We met the artist, Pablo, and later recognized his work in one of the museums in Cusco. Reasonably priced and shipped home art. If you're in the area, this a delightful stop!

We stopped here on a walk from the amazing Yambo del Inka Resort and found it to be a great find. You must ring the doorbell to get in...at first we thought they were closed. We were greeted by a wonderful member of their staff who showed us a video about the place then showed us around. They have wonderful... More

We heard about this ceramic art studio and decided to pay it a visit. They welcomed us very friendly and showed us a short video about the artist, the history and their way of traditional way of working, which was quite interesting, although the quality of the sound could be a little bit better. A lovely lady showed us around... More

If you're staying at the Tambo del Inka hotel, this working ceramics studio and complex is a five minute walk away and popular tourist destination. It's worth joining a guided tour to get the most of the internationally known Pablo Seminario's work.

Seminario's place is well worth your time. Our tour organizer - VBT - included this place one morning and, as we'd not heard of it before, we did not expect much. Boy, were we surprised. They make world class stuff, teach and employ local workers to have a craft and self esteem, and have fabulous ceramics for good prices if... More

Was on a trip to Peru (from the US) and we stopped by this artist's studio/house. A very large studio that by itself is an amazing area but combined with looking at his art I felt like it was a good 45 minutes spent. If you're in the area I would definitely say stop by and check the area out.

In the past I've been on trips where you get diverted in to the local carpet warehouse or pottery works for a drink and the hard sell. Not so here. One of our group wanted some quality pottery so our guide fitted in a stop at Ceramicas Seminario. It is worth a visit just to see court yard and the... More

It's a shame that we were so tired by the time we arrived at this ceramics studio. We had been out hiking all day. I'm glad we made the visit though. We took a tour of the studios and got to watch items being made from slabs of clay all the way through to painted products. The craftsmanship is outstanding... More
