This was easily my favorite place in Lima. The catacombs were as expected, fascinating in an icky sort of way. San Fransisco is a church with catacombs underneath and is morbidly fascinating. It was cool to see such old artwork (even if it wasn't especially well taken care of). Seeing the bones of the catacombs stacked in such a neat design is not something you can really find anywhere else (well, maybe Paris). The history of the church is also... more
