La Punta is a distinct beach where you will mostly only find locals. Not a good beach for swimming but fun for people watching.

A nice beach and waterfront area of Callao with a beautiful vistas of the long coastline. Quite an upscale neighborhood with nice and unique architecture.

A little appendix of the land in Lima, towards the ocean and surrounded by ocean La Punta is a beach district, beautiful to walk by. It is only one Kilometer long by half across. Great, safe, relaxing place to watch the sunset set behind the islands. A number of good restaurants to enjoy seafood and beer and take in the best Callao has to offer.

This was one of my favorite places in Lima. You can get a great view of the sea and the sound of the waves crashing with the pebble stones on the beach is just SOOO relaxing!..
