Once the dust settled, our family of four was comfortable and had a great 3 nights. On our arrival with two sleeping kids, we were brought to a beetle-infested room in a partially-finished section of the hotel with dangling wires that had no functioning a/c (obviously nobody had started the ac prior to our arrival) and fluorescent lights that flashed... Asia beach... there isn't anything on the beach. The boardwalk is not even in sight of the beach. None of the resturants are on the beach. None of the clubs are by the beach. Almost all the beach is private so it's next to impossible to even enjoy it. Dumb

We traveled for 1.5 hour from Lima to spend the day at the beach and eat there, we could not stay at the beach because if you are not a resident you have to bring your own umbrella, chairs, no public bathrooms, the restaurants were at the boulevard (5 minutes driving), the ocean was full of jelly fish. Unfortunately not... More

If you're longing for a North American Experience (shopping, standards of service, cost) Asia will be pleasant, but it takes about ten seconds to realize that it is beyond artificial, fueled by the wealthy and is gated to keep out the majority of the population of Peru. Completely out of reach by most of the population of Peru, you'd fool... More

At Asia you are not that far from Lima, only 97 km, you can go to the pool and the beach in the day (which is expansive and clean, beaches in Lima and close to Lima are a bit too dirty for my liking, they really need a solution to dumping polution from Lima straight into the sea), and the... More

The beaches are clean and the mall is fun. If you want to vacation near Lima, this is the best. If you want an exotic/tropical beach, you'll need to go farther away from Lima. We go to Asia every year.

Open during summer season (mid December to Easter Sunday). Its where all wealthy people from Lima spend thier weekends. Lovely beach houses, and a great boulevard with the best restaurants, clubs and shopping too.

An excellente Lima beach neigboorhood, lots and lots of pretty private clubs and beach houses, the have a mall and lots of excellent restaurants. The bests restaurants from Lima have here a summer location too. There is always a lot of fun and activities near the mall. Its a expensive beach city but it is worth the money as the... More

a large beach with town houses. It is too crowded during summer weekends. I don´t recommend to go if you are not invited by someone who lives there.
