Our Lima tours aim to promote Peru’s fabulous food while giving guests the behind-the-scenes city tour of the capital's most interesting districts. These gourmet culinary tours in Lima were designed so that visitors explore the local cuisine, culture and traditions while being treated like royalty in the City of Kings. All in one day, we take visitors to a local market, secret garden cafes, and Lima’s landmark restaurants where they will prepare Peru's flagship dish and drink - Cebiche and the Pisco Sour - as they wind through the city's most emblematic districts.

Our first thoughts of Lima after flying in to a dust bowl and surviving the taxi ride in to Miraflores was we should have stayed at the airport and transited straight to Cusco. All that changed with the culinary tour the next morning. I can't add too much more to the previous reviews, the activities, food and overall experience was... More

Incredibly fun and engaging, this tour took us all around the city of Lima including a stop for delicious coffee at an organic coffee house, tour of a large fruit and vegetable market where we tasted exotic fruits and a smoothie, a visit to a kitchen where we made our own ceviche and pisco sour--YUM!, and then lunch at a... The food tour was more expensive than many of the other activities I planned while in Lima last July. That being said, it was worth every penny. I did the night tour which included cocktails at a seaside bar, two multi-course meals from incredible top-tier restaurants, and a milkshake and walk around the Barranco district afterwards. Our guide Jaime was... More

Our friends recommended this tour and after reading the Trip Advisor reviews we booked on line via Samantha! She was very prompt in her response and the tour with Sylvia was excellent. Very professional they picked us up promptly at the Hilton and it was a full day! I have heard from others that there are similar tours like this... More

We have learned that the best way to experience a new city, especially with a family riddled with ADD, is to take an interactive food tour. This one delivered! Jossy, our adorable guide was delightful, well informed and managed our group with expert ease. With each stop we sampled and learned about the food culture in Peru. The highlight was... More

we booked this tour for something to do before our late night flight. We were not disappointed. The restaurants we visited were unique and the food was extraordinary. The tour guide was very professional and gave cultural and historical background on the restaurants, the city of Lima, and culinary atmosphere of Peru. Worth the money.

We had one night in Lima and chose the Lima Gourmet evening tour because there was no way we could do justice to a large city in one evening. The tour was excellent - three different restaurants and a walking tour at the end with a Lucuma flavoured drink. I'm sure we would have done well to have unearthed one... More

The evening tour was fun. I was a little disappointed because I thought we were going to make our own pisco sours. However, at the first stop. the guy who made our pisco sours made delicious drinks. It was fun going from restaurant to restaurant to try different meals. The restaurants were amazing. By the last hotel, we were all... More

What a great tour! We did this on our first morning in Lima and would highly recommend it. You'll see lots of interesting places and more importantly try lots of great food! We would suggesting doing this tour on one of your first days in Lima as they'll point out many great places to come back to eat. Thanks again!
