Our Lima tours aim to promote Peru’s fabulous food while giving guests the behind-the-scenes city tour of the capital's most interesting districts. These gourmet culinary tours in Lima were designed so that visitors explore the local cuisine, culture and traditions while being treated like royalty in the City of Kings. All in one day, we take visitors to a local market, secret garden cafes, and Lima’s landmark restaurants where they will prepare Peru's flagship dish and drink - Cebiche and the Pisco Sour - as they wind through the city's most emblematic districts.

The gourmet food tour in Lima was a good night out. We visited 3 nice restaurants and a bar. Everything is included and there is plenty of food to eat. I would have given it 5 stars except for the price - I think it is a little high for what you get.

We did the evening tour which started with a pisco sour lesson (and consumption) at a restaurant right on the ocean. We continued to a place where we learned how to make plantain ceviche (with more drinks), and then a restaurant that is situated right on pre-Incan ruins (with more drinks). We actually ended up meeting Gaston Acurio (one of... More

It was a very nice experience, professional and on time. It offers you not only a taste of Peruvian gastronomy but only some city tour and history of Lima. Great staff and the Ceviche & Pisco class is a really must do...!

This tour, from great coffee first thing in the morning, sampling a wide variety of Peruvian fruits at the market, learning to make pisco sours and ceviche, and sampling great food is an absolute must. Our guide, Lourdes, was wonderful. My only regret is not doing this tour earlier in our trip. Lourdes is a fount of information on how... More

We recently took the evening tour and Lourdes was our guide. She did a great job explaining not just the food, but some of the history of Lima and Peru. There were two of us and only one other couple on the tour. The pisco sours were great and I didn't have anything throughout the night that I didn't like.... More

Thank you very much for your lovely review. We are very happy that you enjoyed your vegetarian options. We often have clients with special dietary requests and the good thing about Peruvian food is that it is very diverse so there is no shortage of delicious options. Thanks again! We did 3 different tours while in Lima, and this was by far the best. We were picked up promptly at our hotel, and after picking up the other guests, the fun began. First we went to a nice restaurant on the beach where the cute bartender showed us the proper way to make a pisco sour. Our guide, Lourdes,... More

This is an absolute must do, perhaps imperative might be a better expression. Lourdes, our guide, was incredible. Her bubbly warm personality made our group of 9 focus as one. We went to 4 great restaurants and enjoyed unique cuisine from starters to exotic desserts.

What an experience! Our personal guide, Lourdes, was absolutely phenomenal. She was super knowledgeable on virtually every topic and question we had about Lima and local culture. The tour was a great mix of touring the city combined with coffee, food, and drinks. We enjoyed every moment. What was supposed to be a 4hr tour turned into 5hrs as we... More

Thank you very much for such kind words. As you said, the tour is designed to combine food and culture while discovering some of the best attractions of modern and bohemian Lima. As such, we also suggest that they take the tour at the beginning of their trip, but some of our clients prefer to leave Peru with a nice... More

We had a group of 5 and took a personalized food tour of Lima. After touring around Ecuador and Peru for nearly 2 weeks, we were beginning to get exhausted, but this tour gave us a pleasant surprise! It was very informative, Silvia was friendly, easy to understand and went at our pace. The tour is given at an excellent... More
