These gourmet culinary tours in Lima were designed so that visitors explore the local cuisine, culture and traditions while being treated like royalty in the City of Kings. All in one day, we take visitors to a local market, secret garden cafes, and Lima’s landmark restaurants where they will prepare Peru's flagship dish and drink - Cebiche and the Pisco Sour - as they wind through the city's most emblematic districts. « less

...However, I LOVED every bit of this tour. Every type of food I tried was exceptional, even though quite a few of the foods I would not have had on my own. I booked this trip as I was in Lima by myself and was not comfortable travelling on my own, and I could not have been more pleased. I... More

David was a wonderful tour guide - he was friendly, very accommodating and we chatted about everything from food to history! We did the day tour. Definitely skip breakfast for this one... you will be full for the rest of the day! Samantha followed up after the tour and we got all the recipes from the day!

Everything about this tour was terrific. The sampling of Peruvian dishes and drinks, the market, the history lesson and the chance to work with chef to make ceviche were a wonderful way to begin our trip. We used things we learned and restaurant recommendations every day for the rest of our time in Lima. Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful tour of various districts in Lima, seen through the eyes of the local market and foods. We tried local coffee, a lucuma fruit milkshake and then moved on to visit a local market and see all the variety of fruit and vegetables in Lima. There was a fun set of questions that asked us where the... More

On the recommendation of friends, we booked our Lima Gourmet Tour - we were going to be in Lima for less than 24 hours, and figured this might be a way of capturing Lima in a "snapshot". How right we were. Lucas, our tour guide, whisked us away and before long we were watching the making (and tasting) our first... More

We did the night tour and our guide, Lucas, was AMAZING! He is not only very knowledgable in local and international cuisine, but also the history of Peru. The tour begins at a restaurant/lounge with sea views to learn a little about the traditional Pisco Sour and goes on to three other locations for food and beverage tastings. Highly professional... After seven days in Cuzco and Aguas Calientes we wanted to get an overview of Lima food. David and his wonderful tour provided more than we anticipated...whether it was the coffee roasting... fruit market tasting...learning to make delicious ceviche and pisco sour.and a wonderful appetizer tasting of local meats and desserts...one more appealing than the next. Fabulous, yummy

We love to cook, and one of the reasons to go to Peru was the food. Then I saw the Lima Gourmet Company, and requested it to my travel agent. It was an amazing tour. David, our guide was knowledgeable, nice and attentive. He took us to the best trendy places in Lima, telling the stories about them, to a... More

The tour itself is great. I did the day tour and would love to do the evening as well sometime. The tour is fun and very informative. The sites and restaurants visited are all unique and interesting. A great tour.
