Our Lima tours aim to promote Peru’s fabulous food while giving guests the behind-the-scenes city tour of the capital's most interesting districts. These gourmet culinary tours in Lima were designed so that visitors explore the local cuisine, culture and traditions while being treated like royalty in the City of Kings. All in one day, we take visitors to a local market, secret garden cafes, and Lima’s landmark restaurants where they will prepare Peru's flagship dish and drink - Cebiche and the Pisco Sour - as they wind through the city's most emblematic districts.

you get to visit the top restaurants in lima, dine on amazing dishes from all regions of Peru and drink some of the very best pisco sours in Lima... what more could you ask for. You would need 4 nights and a lot more cash, time and luck to do what this tour provides you. I even went back to... More

I booked this tour for a free day that we had in Lima and because my wife is a "foodie" and a great cook herself. The site has great reviews. My positive experience began when I inquired about the ability to accommodate my wife who is a vegan. I got a prompt response from Samantha who said it was no... More

This was such a brilliant day -we were picked up at our hotel by the gorgeous Sylvia who looked after us all morning. The 5 hours we had in this private tour was well planned with the added experience of a little rain. Sylvia was a charming and knowledgeable host for this tour which went seamlessly from grat coffee -a... More

We were given a wonderful tour by Silvia starting with a visit to Barranco and then on to a coffeee shop to taste their organic coffee. The next stop was to a smoothie bar to taste a smoothie of a local berry. Onwards then to a food market to sample local fruits, see the vegetables and fish. Our next visit... More

A great way to be a tourist! Meet some locals and like-minded travelers, learn about cuisine, culture, history, immigration and how it has shaped both cuisine and culture, and geography/climate. Not an experience that a meal at a restaurant can provide nor an education provided at a museum.

The evening tour was amazing and very informative. The restaurants were all great, but the food was most amazing. A definite must for anyone who is visiting Lima!

We have been on walking food tours in many places but this one was by far the best because it was an "experience". (and we didn't have to walk!) We were almost at the end of our Peru "grand tour" of Cusco, MP and Lake Titicaca. We would have one last night in Lima before we flew home. I had... More

My cooking group of four people was in Lima for two weeks. One of our members grew up in Lima, so we debated on whether we should do it or let her show us around. In the end, we decided to take the tour, and it was definitely worth going! While we were waiting to be picked up for the... More

We are 3 people travelling together and wanted to learn more about peruvian food. The daytour of the Lima Gourmet Company fullfilled our expectations. We had our own tourguide, which was very nice.
