Our Lima tours aim to promote Peru’s fabulous food while giving guests the behind-the-scenes city tour of the capital's most interesting districts. These gourmet culinary tours in Lima were designed so that visitors explore the local cuisine, culture and traditions while being treated like royalty in the City of Kings. All in one day, we take visitors to a local market, secret garden cafes, and Lima’s landmark restaurants where they will prepare Peru's flagship dish and drink - Cebiche and the Pisco Sour - as they wind through the city's most emblematic districts.

I went to Peru for 8 days, and 2 days I spent in Lima. One of the days, we did the day tour with Lima Gourmet Company. It was literally one of the highlights of my trip, and definitely my Lima highlight. We were picked up from our hostel by our guide, Joseline, and she took us to Barranco, an... More

Fancy guests, should have lost a bit its sincerity - referring to all the good reviews. Pisco sour and ceviche lessons great fun. Passion seems missing.

The Lima Gourmet Company was the highlight of my family's South American adventure. The food was delicious and they took us to sights and places we never would have found on our own. Our guide was so knowledgable and she made extra effort to make the evening special. My only regret is that we did this on our last night;... More

Highly recommend this well established food tour company. Small groups, well-informed, enthusiastic guides, delicious wide-range of foods. It's a bit of a splurge ($125/person) ... but well worth the experience. I had several hours to kill before my red-eye flight out of Lima, and this was a great way to wrap up my fantastic trip across the country.

My boyfriend is a foodie, so I found this tour to please him on our trip through Peru. Our experience with Lima Gourmet went above and beyond our expectations. Our guide picked us up promptly and seamlessly guided us through the neighborhoods of Miraflores and Barranco, detailing the history of the nation at our different stops. At each restaurant, we... A "foodie tour" with Lima Gourmet was the perfect way to spend an evening in Lima. We were staying in Miraflores, which made our stops during the evening tour very close by. This tour gives you a good sampling of several neighborhoods (Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro) and of the different influences in contemporary Peruvian cuisine. All locations we visited were... People overlook Lima and head right to the Jungle, to Cuzco, or out to the mountains. Lima has a lot to offer and one spectacular piece of the puzzle is the food. In order to get the lay of the land you need a guide and these guys do it first class. You get a idea for the flavors and... More

The evening tour was so fun -- we had a great time with Jossy! Both the cebiche and pisco lesson taught us some about the history of the dish and how to construct it, and the stops along the way were filled with delicious food and a great display of all that Lima had to offer to the culinary world!... We are so glad we did the evening food tour! All the food and drinks were outstanding, in beautiful locations. We especially loved the pisco sours at Cala, and dining in view of the ancient pyramid later in the evening. This tour is well worth the price, since you get in to several of the best restaurants in town, for... More
