Our Lima tours aim to promote Peru’s fabulous food while giving guests the behind-the-scenes city tour of the capital's most interesting districts. These gourmet culinary tours in Lima were designed so that visitors explore the local cuisine, culture and traditions while being treated like royalty in the City of Kings. All in one day, we take visitors to a local market, secret garden cafes, and Lima’s landmark restaurants where they will prepare Peru's flagship dish and drink - Cebiche and the Pisco Sour - as they wind through the city's most emblematic districts.

Wonderful evening!

I was a little hesitant because we usually don’t take tours, but I’m so glad that we did. Our group was small – six including our delightful guide Jaime. The choice and variety... read more

Being a foodie, we had understand that Peru had great food. We started the day with a delicious chocolate coffee drink. Touring the fish, vegetable and fruit markets in lima and tasting things that were completely foreign to us was amazing. The tour included a short walking tour of some of the neighborhoods in Miraflores. Jaimie was also our guide... More

I was travelling alone and had some free time on the weekend before my departure so I booked the day tour. I was picked up on-time and the guide was very friendly. They took us to several different places in a variety of districts where you were able to sample a variety of drinks and food. Don't eat before the... More

I was a little hesitant because we usually don’t take tours, but I’m so glad that we did. Our group was small – six including our delightful guide Jaime. The choice and variety of restaurants was first rate. The food was fantastic. It was fun to be able to sample so many dishes. As others have noted, it would have... More

Samatha was my "contact person" through out the booking process. But, Jossy was our host. She was awesome! It was a gloomy day in Lima and she brought the sunshine with her smile. If your looking for a good company, dinner, culture and history of Lima look no further. Btw I took the evening tour.

Don't hesitate for one second booking this tour, you will have the time of your life! The hosts are gracious, informative and you feel like you are with family. We got off a cruise at 9 am and our flight didn't leave until 1 am so they customized a full day tour for us. It was a relief to have... More

Traveled in Peru for 14 days with my daughter and her boyfriend. We started in Lima and booked with the Lima Gourmet for our second day. Fantastic time. So much information and so many tastings - from the incredible coffee, to the smoothies, to the fruit tasting in the market, and finally the Pisco Sour and Ceviche making class, and... More

We never do tours but this you should not miss. The value is excellent with more than enough food and cocktails. They really do take you to the best places in town. Stay in Miraflores because much of the restaurants are there. Our host was a young girl so attractive and professional. Great night.

Three of us spent our first day in Lima with Sylvia from the Lima Gourmet Company. What a great introduction to this city's food and architecture. Sylvia was most knowledgeable and extremely personable. We drank delicious organic coffee, made Pisco Sours and Ceviche and were given some great restaurant suggestions. A fun time was had by all - I highly... More

We did the Lima Gourmet day tour and it was amazing. We took the tour in English (just two of us) and met up with the Spanish group to make our own ceviche and Pisco sours! The whole experience was great, our guide, the coffee, the market and smoothies, the restaurants! Our guide was also super knowledgeable about the history... More

Last year we did the day tour with Lima Gourmet Company. This year we did the night tour and it was equally fantastic. The visits to the AmaZ and Huaca Pucllana restaurants were great. And Josslyn (many apologies if I spelled it wrong) was a great guide. Two notes - first, don't plan on dinner after the tour; you won't... More
