Our Lima tours aim to promote Peru’s fabulous food while giving guests the behind-the-scenes city tour of the capital's most interesting districts. These gourmet culinary tours in Lima were designed so that visitors explore the local cuisine, culture and traditions while being treated like royalty in the City of Kings. All in one day, we take visitors to a local market, secret garden cafes, and Lima’s landmark restaurants where they will prepare Peru's flagship dish and drink - Cebiche and the Pisco Sour - as they wind through the city's most emblematic districts.

My husband and I spent a weekend in Lima, and we went for a gourmet trip in the morning with Jaime. It was the best thing we did in Lima! If you are interested in Peruvian food & drinks, then this is the thing to do. We were picked up at the hotel at 09:30, and had several stops during... More

Last year we took the day tour with David and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. On our return trip back to Lima, we decided to take the evening tour which was quite deliciously different. This time, we got to know a little more about "The Company" and learned that it's a small family run organization of a few young, enthusiastic well-seasoned... More

My sister and I had a GREAT experience with The Lima Gourmet Company. We went to 4 different locations in Lima and were able to not only experience different types of food / drinks but also see different parts of the city. Driver and guide were very professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

This tour is fantastic! A very knowledgeable and entertaining guide takes you through Lima to various food places, starting with coffe, moving to a smoothie, on to a fruit market and the to a restaurant to learn to make ceviche and pisco sours. After to an amazing restaurant for a full Peruvian lunch. A splendid way to spend the day... More

The only negative thing I can say is: Your will not want to go out to dinner after taking the day food tour. And, in a city with so many cool restaurant offerings, I wished later that I had eaten less food during the day. With that said, the tour was very professional and well-organized. From the initial coffee tasting... More

My husband and I took the evening tour and were not disappointed. Our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable and we got to experience the up and coming cuisine of Peru first hand. The tour takes you to several different venues with one of the stops at a wonderful restaurant overlooking fabulous ruins. Make sure you go hungry so you... More

We had several days in Lima and scheduled a tour with Lima Gourmet Co. They met us right at the ship and then we had a full day tour/gourmet experience. The guide was knowledgeable and fun and the food stops were great. After a coffee shop visit, we went to an upscale market for delicious fruit tastings. Then we visited... More

My husband and I recently went to Cusco, Peru on our Honeymoon and only had an afternoon and evening in Lima en route back to the US. We wanted to get a feel for Lima but only had a few hours. This tour was a great way of seeing the sights of Lima, learning about some of the neighborhoods and... More
