Our Lima tours aim to promote Peru’s fabulous food while giving guests the behind-the-scenes city tour of the capital's most interesting districts. These gourmet culinary tours in Lima were designed so that visitors explore the local cuisine, culture and traditions while being treated like royalty in the City of Kings. All in one day, we take visitors to a local market, secret garden cafes, and Lima’s landmark restaurants where they will prepare Peru's flagship dish and drink - Cebiche and the Pisco Sour - as they wind through the city's most emblematic districts.

This is a great way to get acquainted with Lima and the food of Peru. It allows participants to visit several neighbourhoods and markets while sampling delicious treats along the way. Our guide, Jaime, was excellent - warm, welcoming and knowledgable - and really added to our experience. Everything we tried, from the first cup of coffee to the last... More

The overall experience is good, the organization is smooth and the guide provides good back story for each dish provided. You get to listen to a Gaston spiel about Amaz. However, the value delivered is nowhere near $130+PP. You get three cocktails, 6 appetizer SAMPLES and a desert delivered in a paper cup with a plastic straw while sitting in... More

6 of us went on this tour and we all loved it. Our guide was Jaime and he was very friendly and informative. We loved the opportunity to try different fruits and veges in the market, making ceviches was a lot of fun with the group. The tasting menu lunch was delicious and it was great fun to take turns... We were picked up in a sedan by Sam's sister-in-law and to our surprise the tour was going to be just my self and my sister! We started of beach side at Cala where we watched a demonstration of pisco sour being made and obviously sampled it. We then moved to Amaz where we sampled a delicious array of Amazonian... More

If you are traveling to Lima, this tour should be on your must do list. Samantha Lewis, co-owner of the company, is responsive and attentive. She booked my tour within minutes and responded to all my questions ASAP. A great way to know about the city and the gourmet food of Lima in a different way. Great value for the $. Many tours available, just go to their site and choose the one right for you. Jaime was our kind and knowledgeable guide, a gentleman. Hands on learning. They also took us to the still transforming quaint artists... More

We have taken food tours in a variety of cities throughout the world - yes, the food was good on the tour but the tour definitely was underwhelming. four stops at high end restaurants with a guide who knew absolutely nothing about food. I expected to go to more interesting places than two tourist type restaurants. This is not the... More

We took the morning tour, and we were picked up at our hotel by Sylvia. First we went to the district of Barranco. We crossed the Bridge of Sighs and visited a local coffee roaster/coffee house where we chose our own drink- espresso, cappuccino, cafe con leche, etc. then we walked to a "converted garage to cafe" where we received...
