Owner description: Our Lima tours aim to promote Peru’s fabulous food while giving guests the behind-the-scenes city tour of the capital's most interesting districts. These gourmet culinary tours in Lima were designed so that visitors explore the local cuisine, culture and traditions while being treated like royalty in the City of Kings. All in one day, we take visitors to a local market, secret garden cafes, and Lima’s landmark restaurants where they will prepare Peru's flagship dish and drink - Cebiche and the Pisco Sour - as they wind through the city's most emblematic districts.

My husband and I spent our last day in Lima taking the Lima Gourmet Co. day tour and we had a great time. I would highly recommend it. We loved talking to our guide, Lucas, about Lima’s history and the role good food has played in the city’s rejuvenation. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to San Isidro market and had... More

We did the night tour and really enjoyed it. The group was probably around 10-12 people but we thought that made it more fun! Sylvia was our guide and she was friendly and bubbly and told us about everything from history to culture to the background of the current food scene in Lima without getting stuffy or boring! We had... More

I took the day tour which was great and would highly recommend it to anyone. David was welcoming knowledgeable about all subjects put to him with several different recommendations on what to do while in Lima. Making the Pisco Sours and Cebiche was definitely the highlight. I wish I had taken the tour at the beginning of my stay and... More

Was fun! Great food and pisco sours. We were only in Lima for an evening and it was the best way to have dinner and see sights/restaurants that we would have never seen. Our guide, Sylvia, was adorable and I would highly recommend it!

My husband and I took the day tour. Our guide, Sylvia, was outstanding in every way. This is not just a tour of Lima or simply food tasting, it is a truly enjoyable "experience". If you like to get off the beaten path, you will especially love this tour. Hubby and I had just completed a two week tour of... More

My friend and I chose the morning tour. The van and tour guide arrived on time to pick us up at our hotel. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about Lima's culture, politics, history, and culinary scene. We highly enjoyed hearing the information she provided. It was fun to make our own ceviche and pisco sours. The food stops on the... More

My friends ask me what they should do while in Peru, and this tour is at the top of my list! At first I thought it was not going to be worth the time and cost, but I was absolutely wrong. From sampling coffee to making pisco sours, it was one of the most memorable days of the vacation. Our... More

My hubby and I flew in to Lima midnight the night before, slept-in in the morning, so an evening tour perfectly fit our schedule. We were picked up about 15 minutes late from our NM Hotel due to traffic for which our guide apologized profusely. We picked up the other guests in a comfy, clean van – a couple from... More

You like food, try this. Instead of browsing different books and sites to find out where to have a taste of Lima, try this activity. It's all worth it.
