I went to the meeting point at 12:30 on a Tuesday in mid-March and the guide didn’t show up. I don’t think this tour is operating any more. There is plenty to see in the old historic centre of Lima and I covered it well enough using Lonely Planet.

If, like me, you were interested in these tours, you better check Lucid Lima's wall on their Facebook page. There's a note that they've suspended tours as of Feb 23 2012 and nothing to suggest they've started up again yet (March10 2012). They're website address is not longer valid. W

Wished it would have covered more, but it is free. If you're beginning your visit, this is a great place to start your... More

The tour was great. It´s about time someone established a decent tour in Lima. Also had Timmy as our guide and he had a massive knowledge of the history of Lima and Peru. I would recommend anyone travelling to Lima to go on this tour - you won´t be dissapointed. Would also recommend the Pub Crawl run by the same... More

We went on the free walking tour while in Lima and it was definitely worth it. I really learned a lot about the history of Lima that I wouldn't have otherwise! Timmy, our guide was very easy to listen to and gave us so much information without ever boring us. Definitely a must in Lima!
