Lots of stuff to see and do in this area. I booked a tour, but as with most tours, you are never given enough time to check things out...just a brief visit

A lot going on in this area...so wear comfortable walking shoes and don't recommend being in the Center on a Friday around 4pm. Why?? Everyone is going home and its' the start of a weekend!.

Spent hours wandering around getting lost. It's definitely a cool little city with lots of little mysteries to discover. Spend a couple of hours getting lost!

Buildings are great. So full of history and great to watch the Changing of the Guards. Visit the old cathedrals. Eat locally. Enjoy the scenery.

I was accidentally the only person in a "half-day" guided tour of Historic Lima, then later toured again as part of a group of 38. There are so VERY many options/approaches to enjoying this area that I LOVED the personalize focus of the knowledgable guide. Would have paid $250 or more (for her time so tipped her well.)
