I'd been watching Trip Advisor for some time before deciding on a 3-week trip to Peru. For someone from the dry desert--that's me!--the Amazon rain forest would definitely be a change I wanted. My wife and I had the best vacation ever. we spent 3 nights, 4 days at the Cieba Tops Lodge about 2 and 1/2 hours down river from Iquitos,Peru in the Amazon. The lodge was nice with a beautiful pool, internet and cell phone connectivity, air conditioned suites and a large dining room. Food was good not excellent and wildlife... More
