Amazon tours and cruises on the upper Amazon River and its tributaries from Iquitos, Peru. The Dawn on the Amazon riverboats are big enough for you to be comfortable and relaxed, but small enough to access the tributaries and lakes where larger cruise ships can not go. If you have an extra day in Iquitos before or after your cruise, Dawn on the Amazon also provides the best day trips. Thank you for your consideration.

I am sorry you felt I was derogatory to you when I was explaining to you, as I have explained to many solo travelers, Dawn on the Amazon must have a minimum of 2 passengers. We do not accept any travelers showing up the night before and expecting a cruise the next morning. It is impossible.

This is by far the best thing to do in Iquitos. We went on a three-day tour of the Amazon river and stayed in a beautiful and comfortable boat. The staff was absolutely fantastic. The tour guide knew the area really well, knew all the wildlife in both Spanish and English, and was very accommodating. The best food we had...

Just returned from Iquitos - a city so different from anything in Peru! Took two terrific tours with Dawn on the Amazon. The visit to Monkey Island was truly memorable but it is the trip down the rivers that will stay with me.
