Moray has no Inca Temples but it does have 3 circular terraced pits sunk into the earth. The largest is118ft deep and 722 ft long. They were all in use before the inca Empire but exact dates are not known. It is speculated that these were very exact agricultural labs. The area is beautiful and you can walk down into these... More

We visited here with our ATV tour guide. Its an awesome archeological site. We enjoyed the little fun facts about the site that our tour guide mentioned to us. I believe it only costs 10 soles to visit, which isn't bad. We only stayed for about an hour, which was plenty time for us. We enjoyed it and would recommend... More

This was one of the more unique archeological sites I have visited. It is located in a natural geological feature whose origin is not explained by our guides or the on-site plaques which is a little annoying. This is a remote location so it takes some time to get there but the drive through the countryside makes it worthwhile. There... More

A bit far but worth it. Here you'll see why the incas were so good at agriculture, and why the Cusco corn is so amazing! More

Small on the scale of everything else seen, but well worth the interesting drive through the countryside, which in itself was eye opening. More

We spent the good part of a day touring Maray and Maras where the salt mines are. We are agricultural people so we enjoyed the sites especially with our good guide Lalo. The Maray site would also be fun for kids, I think, since you go down about 12 Inka terraces on the stone steps to get over 300 feet... More

Moray is relatively small and the pictures you have seen pretty much capture it. If you don't have time to get there, I'd pass on it. It is an interesting place but for the drive our there, it may not be worth your time More
