Take a walk along the cobblestone streets and sit on the plaza steps at night. The hills are decorated in lights, the smell of the air is cool. Very relaxing. You will be planning for your next trip....so forget Bora Bora, Europe and come and visit Cuzco, you will not ever forget it. Also bring some Ibuprofen for your headache... More

This plaza is large and beautiful! It's a great place to sit and appreciate your surroundings, talk to locals or just people watch.

Most of the central plazas in Peru are beautiful, each in their own way- from the largest cities to the smallest villages. The plaza in Cusco was probably my favorite, however. I wish we had had more time to visit the surrounding churches and to just sit and watch the life in the plaza.

Our travel agent, Kuoda Travels reserved a private balcony on the second floor during the annual Corpus Christi festival celebration located in the centre of Cusco. Simply an awesome place to see and meet locals from all around Peru. You will be better aware of their cultures and religions from the different parts of Peru.

Plaza de Armas was a great central point to visit for my friends and I. -Clean cobble streets that you can explore. - Very safe for tourist. ***I suggest that you listen to the locals and don't venture to far from here.

Plaza de Armas is a great place, it is a park in the center of Cuzco, many restaurants and shopping and almost every Sunday, festivals of all kinds and of course, a portal to Machu Picchu, the sacred valley and many other treasures

It had a nice modern, safe feel to the place. There are number of churches, cathedrals, restaurants, fast food places and tour agencies around the plaza.

It's a rather nondescript main square, but a good place to orient yourself & then explore all the interesting sites around the perimeter. Probably the place to be during festivals...
