There is plenty to do and see around the square, you will find lots of people trying to sell you things, hats, keying's, paintings, and entice you into their restaurants etc... but once you have said no they leave you alone quite quickly. We found ourselves in many of the pubs/restaurants with a balcony so we could people watch and... More

Great place to sit and watch people go about their daily lives. Lots happening in this large square from locals selling their wares to tourists moving round town. Bars and restaurants close by.

My girlfriend and I loved old town Cusco, especially Plaza de Armas. There's great restaurants with balconies overlooking the square. The churches are some of the best we've seen in the world. Excellent people watching and great views.
