I stayed for a month in cusco three years ago. The square is full of activity, you can sit by the fountain for many an hour, just sitting, you can find a spot in the Irish bar overlooking it to just take in the sites. Visit the LEK bar for salsa lesson at night. Or eat at the many restaurants... More

Compare to other country's city, this may not be the most beautiful square, but it is the most interesting one. Sit at square you will get a lot of vendors come to ask for buying their stuffs. From small key chain to charango. The good thing is they will not bug you when you said no to them. I think... More

We walked from our hotel to Plaza de Armas, the main center point of Cusco. Beautiful place to visit, the big cathedral of Cusco, another beautiful Church in Main Square, Iglesia La Compania. Many different restaurants on the second floors around the square, overlooking Plaza de Armas. Site streets and small alleys off the main square, interesting walk you will... More

The Plaza de Armas was beautiful at night. It was all lit up with the cathedral in the background and the lights from all the homes in the hills surrounding. We walked from our hotel which was about twenty minutes away. We did a walking tour of the city. Many of the attractions were within walking distance of our hotel... More

The Plaza is the center of most activity in Cusco. This is where you want to start. Everything in town branches out from the main square. Lots of great little sidestreets to go explore. Plenty of restaruants, lots of churches, nice little parks.

Seems time stood still, beautiful churches around it, shops, restaurants, drug stores. Lots of massage girls, clean and decent. As a matter of fact my brother dropped his passport while getting one didn't realize it 'till he saw the girl waiting for him at the hotel to give it back.

If you are in Cuzco, you ought not miss the plaza. A great place for walking about or hanging out. Numerous restaurants to choose from. Shops worth exploring. Hike up the side streets for the views and fewer tourists. Historic sites nearby are worth your time. And return in the evening for a different "feel."

you can still see the original Inca culture along with the Spanish colonial influence. The cathedral is magnificent and you can see the native Peruvian's as well as foreign tourist enjoying the beautiful plaza.
