Center of Tourism in Cusco.

The Plaza is a great central location in Cusco. It's surrounded by load of shops and restaurants and of course the Cathedral is a must see.

Day and Night, be sure to visit this plaza both times. It is lively and scenic. You will want to take some time to sit and watch the activity. This is a must see in Cusco.

It's the centre of Cuzco.. Nice place to chill out and watch locals and tourists daily lives. It also has an amazing view of the cathedral and St Loreto Church.

One of the best plazas I've ever seen! Best time: just before sunset with the beautiful (yet very stip) hills of Cuzco at the background and the wonderful lights on...magic

It has a nice feel to it with the calming water and the the view of the hills behind the city. Surrounded by some nice architecture of the churches... More

We spent time wandering all over the Plaza as it had so many interesting attractions to see. Many people were selling their trinkets, which we found fun to barter with. We also found a quaint Alpaca Store to purchase our sweaters and scarves.

This is a good example of a South American Plaza de Armas. Very nice church and central square with lots of services around it. Restaurants, banks and the market are very close. Very safe and comfortable to relax, hang out or sight see.
