This plaza is full of life. We spent hours people watching from Calle del Medio with pisco sours in hand. It is ideal to sit in and take in the beautiful surrounding architecture or watch the the spectrum of people that come to visit. It is kept very clean. I enjoyed walking through it daily.

A perfect place to just sit and watch everything go by. Stop relax and enjoy the old town both day and night, watch the sunset and enjoy the Cathedral at night. Plenty of old restaurants, try the back alleys and find some memorable experiences. You must try Guinea pig and enjoy its moist flavoursome meat.

Enjoyed it by day and by night! Children playing soccer, people watching, artists, local dogs, very interesting. Beautiful landscaping, fountain, monuments!

Just beautiful. There a free guided walking tours available or downloadable self guided walking apps to learn some more of the history of the plaza. The view from Bhagdad restaurant is amazing. Wear closed in shoes as the cobble stones get a bit much for sandals / thongs. Bring a rain jacket or buy a cheap plastic poncho as the... More

If you're visiting Cusco you will undoubtedly cisit Plaza de Armas. Go in to the cathedral; it's worth a look as is the church to the left. Nice bars & restaurants on the plaza but beware of tourist trap prices, although to be honest you'd have to try pretty hard to find a super expensive place in Cusco...

The overtake by the Spaniards is somewhat epitomized by this place with the Spanish architecture and religious presence surrounding the great Inca Pachacuti. The area is well maintained and beautifully encapsulated by the mountains in the background.

Stayed in the square at hotel Santa Maria. So just a short walk Breathtakingly beautiful. As my friend mentioned to me while having a meal from a balcony looking down on the square. I feel like crying it's so beautiful. Stayed in cusco longer than we anticipated due to the beauty. And very friendly people. And so much to do.

Lot of shops and restaurants with churches for those who wish a quiet moment. I enjoyed the Gardens there. So peaceful. A great view can be had from any one of the terraces or balconies of the Restaurants.
